Dude… They so need the high speed in black. I work FD. Currently rocking the Belleville mini mils. They’re like slippers. I’d like to take the High Speed for a test drive at work.

Which is the better off road hard core rucking shoe/boot-the MacV-2 or the Macall?

@@Rucking I use both so I guess I don’t have a preference. Just looking for the best to ruck very hardcore desert hill with a lot of sand, loose rock, sharp jagged boulders, etc..

@@edwardgomez3633 I'd probably go with the boots if you're in sand and loose rock. More likely to get that in the shoes if you go with the Mackalls.

Where/How would you use the MACV-1 Hi-Speed boots? Which of the other GR shoes could it replace?

If you like boots for rucking, the High Speed would be great for urban rucking. The MACV-2 is great if you're primarily off road. But, if I was pounding pavement, I'd go with the High Speed.

While the Rough Runner can handle lifting, nothing compares to the Ballistic Trainers for the gym. If I could only have one for the gym and rucking, I'd go Ballistic. It is fine for rucking, just not perfect.

Agree, Ballistic Trainers are my go to for the gym and CrossFit workouts.

So the superspeed is because how fast you put them on compared to a running shoe? Why do those special forces want this? Is it because you lose or get stuff in the running shoe in bad environments? Like on an OCR I use mini gaiters for that Also, drop is not shoe nerd info. It's like as important as any part of the shoe when deciding. Take a Salomon speedcross and then an Altra and go for a trailrun and tell me it's shoe nerd info xd
