Thanks for this - very helpful. What's it like rucking with the plate in the laptop compartment, vs. the internal sleeve in the main compartment? Does the plate stay in there securely without bouncing around?
@Rucking
@Rucking Ай бұрын
@@johnwedeles5384 back in the day, laptop sleeve was all we had for ruck plates. Works like a charm. If the plate slides around any, just cut a piece from a yoga block and stuff it in there.

@@shanewhetstone7977 yeah. They would work. However, I find most GORUCK events these days are urban and more time is spent in pavement. So, for me, I do events in running shoes. But, these would work just fine as well.

So after 3 years, do you still stand by this review? Or do you have further info/experience that would make you give a less than stellar review? I am looking at the 3.0 and 4.0 and yes these are expensive rucking systems. Can you put a 45 lb plate in the 2.0 carrier or is 30 lbs the limit? I as because I am looking at a 2.0 for sale locally. Thank you for any insight that you can provide.

@@kittyfoyle2119 2.0 doesn’t fit the 45. The truth is that I don’t use the RPC. I found the Rucker is a better investment because it can carry stuff beside weight. I just don’t have a case where this is really needed for me.

Excellent vid; thank you. You make good vids and deserve more subscribers and views. Both grey tones are beautiful; just preference; the coyote brown molle strips look better in Vietnam brown to me on their own. I have a MiV Rucker MC 3.0 with the Viet coyote brown strips and love it to bits as is. Just richer hued in brown that makes the bag look so rich in contrast with the MC patterns. The US ones on the GR1 look tinted greenish-toned, not exactly actual coyote brown but they seem to suit the lighter Wolf Grey better. I'm not a fan personally of matching a cool-coloured grey to a warm brown - but the Wolf Grey/ US green-tinted coyote is growing a little on me, I guess. An acquired taste, like oyster.... unique nonetheless - it's not for everyone. I think both Greys would look nicely matched with black molle. To each his own. Cheers and keep up the good vids. Best rgds Phil

Why do the dimensions of this bag look different from those listed on the website? This bag resembles the GR2 more than the Bullet. It has a relatively square/boxy shape rather than the slim shape that characterizes the Bullet. Is this an inconsistency in Goruck's production process?

Good question. Fit reaction is I think I like the ripstop a little better. It is a little more supple than the xpac, which can feel a little stiff. While I do really love the aesthetic of the xpac, the ripstop is a really clean look. If I had two of the same bag, one ripstop and one xpac, I think I’d probably grab ripstop more frequently.

So the superspeed is because how fast you put them on compared to a running shoe? Why do those special forces want this? Is it because you lose or get stuff in the running shoe in bad environments? Like on an OCR I use mini gaiters for that Also, drop is not shoe nerd info. It's like as important as any part of the shoe when deciding. Take a Salomon speedcross and then an Altra and go for a trailrun and tell me it's shoe nerd info xd
