Goryou Nagusa: Courage Born From Fear (Blue Archive)

This is either Peak Archive or I'm delusional, but I wanted to talk about Goryou Nagusa, a character with a severe imposter syndrome from Blue Archive.
This was going to be a Reddit thread, but it got out of hand once I started writing it all down.
Anyway, when Nagusa becomes playable, give her the love she deserves.

Thank you very much for a video analyzing the depth of Nagusa's personality. I'm really surprised that very few people in my Blue Archive fandom are talking about her dev and growth, or at least aware of the vast difference between "what she simply wants" (as a normal teenage girl) and "what everyone thinks she should actually do" (as a vice president), and how that difference creates tons of internal conflicts (this fandom is something really weird...). In my opinion, that growth of Nagusa is still just a "lie", and it's imperfect, just like her. But that's still the unique way of "Goryou Nagusa", not of "I-am-not-Ayame girl". And every imperfection is a door to maturity, so that's special in a story about school-age girls. Goryou Nagusa is the type of person whose journey I want to follow and say "you've grown up" when she's able to be tough and confident in doing what she thinks is right. The journey will still continue after I say those words, though, because she will still not be perfect in the end (like everybody), but I'm sure Nagusa will continue to learn and grow to become worthy with her dream and new desire to protect her friends.

Late to reply to this, I guess, but Volume 5 of Blue Archive arguably had an even better start and case of potential than all the other volumes to date minus F, which says a lot about the possibilities of where Nagusa's story, as well as those of her peers Kikyou, Renge, and Yukari, can head to. There's a lot to forward to. Also, damn, I honestly didn't think about a comparison with Sousou no Frieren, my recent new #1 favorite anime. From my perspective, Himmel may not have be the chosen, he wasn't the overly talented and "perfect" individual like many versions of his legend may say otherwise, but he still arguably achieved just as much, if not more so, than whomever chosen one would've done....ALL with a fake sword, mind you...because despite essentially playing an lie, he didn't care, he emphasized more of the importance of his own strength and actions, not too different from what Goryou Nagusa would more or less come to realize thanks to Sensei's guidance and her friends' support. Good stuff! I haven't seen enough people talk about Nagusa here on this platform, tbh.

Still accept Yukari's role, though. But to be honest, maybe in the future, what Nagusa do to 'Ayame' with white lotus will show the reason why I recognize her suitability to that gun.
