Inspired by the 'Nope' (Jordan Peele) and 'Apocalypse Now' (Francis Ford Coppola)
Gosh is a love letter to the films that inspire me and a film about dealing with intrusive thoughts and grappling with change.
A large portion of the dialogue is taken directly from topic titles and posts within lending to the surreal nature of the film.

"Gosh is a short film about an socially anxious and depressed clown, Sublime, who loses everything and finds solace in an online community. Cyberlight, a desk lamp with a mischievous side, tries his best to initiate some connection with Sublime in the only way he can: peddling smut.
Kiffe, a moderator of the community, deals with his dark past by suppressing his most disturbing moments of moderation.
Oh, there's also the looming threat of aliens."

This marks the longest project I have ever completed coming in at just over 42 minutes long.
Production started about a year ago in October 2022 starting with the animated short "ApocaLLypse Now" based on 'Apocalypse Now'. That short was always meant as the first portion of a larger project, after watching "Nope" it became clear how I can stitch everything together.
For the time being, GOSH is available on KZbin with plans to be placed on VOD services to potentially attract a larger audience.
Make sure to comment, like, subscribe, and most importantly, share!
The more people see this the more chance there is of me doing a follow-up and/or creating more fun content.
And if you somehow miraculously see this, Mr. Peele, please enjoy!
Likewise to you, Mr. Coppola. (Sorry for releasing this in direct competition with 'Priscilla'.)
