Gosia McKane introducing the Liverpool European Festival, May 2023

Gosia McKane has organised the Liverpool European Festival, held in May 2023. She was born in Poland and came to Liverpool in 2000. She has worked for various community associations and is involved with Merseyside Polonia. She has been involved supporting Ukrainian people moving to Liverpool.
The festival aims to highlight communities from other parts of Europe who are living in the Liverpool area. Launch date for the festival: Tuesday 9 May, 2023, Europe Day, closing date 23 June 2023, the date of the referendum.
