Scales NEVER made sense to me till this video. I’m proud to say I figured 0-3-5-7-10-12 as blues on the Diddley Bow independently.

What is the 0-3-5-7-10-12 ? Thanks, am new to this
@malaquiasalfaro812 жыл бұрын
@@richardramey5943 it’s the minor pentatonic scale. If you hit the E string (the thickest one) open, then the 3rd fret, 5th fret, 7th fret, and 10th fret, you’ll get a really cool sounding melody, made of the 5 notes (Pentatonic meaning 5 notes) they call it a scale cause it goes up or down. You can learn to play around with those notes to right basic songs using only one string. It took me so long to learn about blues since I didn’t have a guitar teacher at all, if you have any questions let me know!!!
