Showing my lack of skills, you able to give some guidance on the hose and fittings replaced, and how you did the fuel tanks. Maybe even an education video 🙏😜
@eastcoastfisher54573 жыл бұрын
Hi Stephen it’s easy to do the fuel hose and hose clamps you just need to take the seat boxes out and pull the carpet back to expose the lid over the tanks.Remove the lid and you will see the hoses and clamps.If you are going to do the pick ups you will have to take the tanks out and take them to someone who can cut and weld aluminium the pick up is the pipe coming out on top of the tank get them to move it to the rear of the tank

Watched both of your boat review vids. Went on a very early Chinese Noble International. It had a little bit of cracking on the cab too but up the front near the windscreen and the hard top supports. Rode super well. I was impressed. My only comment would be should you have a safety on the anchor chain for travelling or can that winch be trusted 1000%?

Any resolution for the cracking around the cabin? That's a major defect due to thin material/poor structural design. How was it resolved?

The resolution is grind out and re-weld and don’t grind back flush very minor

EAST COAST FISHER // fantastic review .... yes originally designed and built in QLD by ben noble called noble craft ... then a change of ownership and rebadged as supervee ..the supervee had ever so slightly wider shoulders ...both versions are very stable at rest and are strong going into a headlong sea blowing 30nkts to 40nkts they instill so much confidence in their seaworthiness that you dont realize how fast you are traveling over water ( im not selling anything here or talking bull shit ).... which brings my attention to the cracks at the base of the overhead rod holders (TARGA BAR ) guess what the gospel version which has the same specks as the original noble and supervee and strong gussets at the top of the targa bar yes the ozzie versions also cracked at the base like yours ...its a badge of honor mate because its the only place these hulls including the gospel will ever crack ... simply drill a hole 6.7.or 8 mill at the end of the crack .... so who am i nobody really but i have spent many hours in all kinds of seas fishing on all three of these hulls in australia ... do i own a boat yes i own an alloy boat called an ocean cylinder a pontoon boat with 24degress dead rise the pontoon giving the hull a double reverse chine 6.4 cuddy cab year 2000 model made by queensland ships whom also made the supervee above and me thinks by col svenson .... so ok i might be talking bull shit now but i do believe that ben noble saw the ocean cylinder and redesigned his hull minus the pontoon but added the 2nd reverse chine hence the 24 degrees deadrise and soft ride and stable at rest (very smart ) saving on production costs ....E/C/F you have made a very wise choice smooth sailing mate ... and yes the base of my targa bar is also cracked in the same spot since i have owned it 12 years now its the dna that these hulls share // im using my wifes e. mail because i dont have one cmcheryl460@gmail.com // cheers loris 70 yrs old ..having covid19 vacine tomorrow wish me luck...

This is good to hear this review. I am worried about the basic safety, welds etc. Did you buy the trailer and the outboards from them? Did you get it with an Anchor winch? Those cabin weld cracks are not a good sign. Despite my concerns they are a cost effective option. Did you buy direct or from Alibaba?

Hey Kris l try not to go out when it rough lol , but it’s a very stable boat,with the double chimes and the 24 degree dead rise it cuts easy through water . I recommend putting trim tabs on they make the ride a lot smoother in short sharp chop

Iv got the wild sea 6.5 centre cab! She’s been great had her almost a year. Great idea with the flap.and fresh water tank up the bow!! So you reckon use my trim tabs in short chop? What hp was on your 6.85? I find it annoying how the kill tank fills with water

Hey, hope all is going well with your boat. How did you install your engines to the transom? Im having trouble researching engine installaion on aluminium boats. I dont want the sst bolts causing galvanic corrosion through the transom. Hope you can help with that. Would be nice to have another update of the boat.
@tbag315 Жыл бұрын
A good grade of stainless steel hardware should not create too much galvanic corrosion. Anyway that's why it's a must to have zinc Anodes placed on the boat as a sacrificial attraction for the corrosion.

I don’t understand, how is this good if it’s cracking and has design flaws like the flap that’s getting water inside it, which you had to fix with those pipes?
@eastcoastfisher54573 жыл бұрын
The cracks are an easy fix ,it’s only because they ground the welds back flush . Now the deck is a self draining deck it doesn’t matter if water comes in it just go back out again it just depends if you like a wet deck or not ,l like it dry . It not a flaw but it should be a factory option
