Thank u …I’ve never heard Holy Thursday explained in this way ..may God have mercy on me for my ignorance and taking my faith for granted…God Bless

I don't believe in a God of wrath. The loving God Jesus teaches of is ever merciful. I love you, Jesus loves you, God loves you... Unconditionally

@@SDPauly Hi. I would suggest you read the New Testament first. Read Jesus own words in John chapter 3 and then read the book of Romans starting at chapter 1 verse 1. Then I suggest you read the Old Testament starting at Genesis chapter 1 verse 1. This will give you the complete view of God's wonderful + perfect character - His steadfast love and His righteous wrath. How He hates sin and those who sin yet is love and so provides a way to save us to become His sons + daughters who He delights in. Love is an action not an ooey gooey feeling. ❤

Thank you. May you find your well of everlasting love that Jesus tells us is within. That love is us all and all is within us.❤

So glad to have this vid apear in my recommendations. 1st time seeing you or your channel here tonight on Good Friday 2023. I recently recalled my Mom saying Maundy Thursday back when I was very young growing up still under her care. I never asked what it meant and never heard it being said again by anyone else. After seeing your vid I see I heard her correctly, my memory would've been accurate and my guess at how to spell it was right. Thanks for posting this.

WOW! God never ceases to amaze me. Thank you so much for this series! Praying for this ministry, that it would reach out to His universal church for encouragement and motivation to serve Him and love others. That it would also reach the lost that need to hear of Christ's great love for humanity. To Him be the glory forever and ever! Blessings.

It’s amazing that even after he reattached the man’s ear and threw them all to the ground merely by speaking his identity, that they STILL arrested him! Would you not either be in too much awe or terror to do anything (except run!) by that point?

Judas was essential to the entire myth. Without the "betrayal", crucifixion and resurrection, we would not be talking about any of this. This is how Jesus brilliantly engineered his own INEVITABLE endgame. Blaming "Satan" is wrong and completely misses the point - it takes away the agency of Christ. We need to love Judas, the Romans and the temple elites, just as He commanded us.

I have always believed that Jesus pbh was predestined to die for our sins therefore Judas Iscariot was also predestined ( without malice aforethought ) to be Chosen as the One who would fulfill the burden of Jesus pbh dying and sacrificing His Earthly life for our Sins .

Jesus died on the Day of Passover which valls on Nisan 14th in the Biblical calendar. Biblical days start and end at sunset, so the "Last Supper" would have taken place on the evening part of Nisan 14th which always precedes the following daylight portion, such as on the weekly Sabbath which starts on Friday sunset and finishes on Saturday at sunset. Thus Jesus was crucified on the following daylight portion of Nisan 14th, meaning the "Last Supper" took place on the same Biblical day/date on Nisan 14th in the 24 hour period between the sunsets. Thus the "Last Supper" and the crucifixion took place on the same day/date, not on two separate days such as many Christian Gentiles commemorate in their observances. This sunset to sunset practice also applies to Acts 20:7 where the disciples met on the first day of the week at Troas (Troy) and Paul spoke until after midnight. This would have been the preceding evening part of the first day of the week, now called "Sun"-day by Gentiles, just following on from the weekly Sabbath which would have ended on Saturday sunset. This is used as a proof text to justify the observance of "Sun"-day, yet few non-Jews reading the passage realise that this meeting took place on Saturday night. If this the perfect or best text to take an example from for Christians to emulate for their meetings inspired by events in Scripture then Christians should be meeting on Saturday nights. Similarly, by the same Biblical principle, those churches who meet on "Sun"-day evenings after sunset are actually meeting on Monday or "Moon-day" and not actually on the Biblical first day of the week. Who is right, God or man? Maundy Thursday ("Thor's Day") and Good Friday ("Freya's Day") are ecclesiastical inventions, but they don't match up to the real Biblical time frames set in place by God and observed by Yeshua (meaning 'salvation') before the Gentiles changed His name to "Jesus."

It is amazing that you decided to mash in what would happen in the garden of Gethsemane with Judas in with the Passover Seder. He did not say do it quickly while sitting at the dinner table he said it to his face in the garden right before he betrayed him with a kiss. I also find it interesting that the Gospel coalition noticeably leaves out of this video the fact that this was a Passover seder, and completely and utterly ignores any references to the fact that our Messiah is in fact Jewish.

Why does the evil person depicted as darker. That comment is so wrong in the context of what MT is all about. He might be darker skin because he's in a warmer climate and ther is a little more melanin in his skin, this is the speakers interpretation therfore how can I listen to that. Is he not aware of the state of the world when it comes to skin colour.v. disappointed.
@jimdavis71042 жыл бұрын
Hey, Tina. I don't normally interact with any comments, but I do feel the need to answer your very reasonable question. I was not referring to the melatonin of the skin. The word I should have used is shadowy instead of darker. That would be more precise. DaVinci does just that in his Last Supper. Sorry for the lack of clarity.

@@jimdavis7104 Thank you for this! I also came to comments, because it was jarring to hear and could be a stumbling block to hearing larger word. Would you edit that part? Thank you Tina and Jim!

I took darker to mean darkness instead of light. Darkness makes me think of evil in the way he is describing.

@jimdavis - thanks for replying and clarifying! I'm a black male and although i don't overstate the role of racial comments/prejudices, I know they exist. I was about to write a comment but as I sat down to do so, I considered that my assumption of the darker skin may not have been what you meant! I think as Christians it's important to give grace and avoid jumping to conclusions- especially when we don't have the full picture. It did sound bad but I'm glad you felt moved to clarify Jim. Thank you, this has been a useful series! God bless you all! ❤️

Furthermore the comment about you don't need to have or know your Bible in order to know who these characters are just simply based off of artwork and European churches, that is exactly what bishops and priests for hundreds of years not only banked on but actually mandated when they didn't want their congregations actually reading the Gospels. Seems like that this video is heavily influenced by Catholic dogma, which has its roots in Sun worship. But this is not surprising what the Gospel coalition who also has decided to wait into the Waters of political leftism as well
