I heard another version of this song today on my car radio (May, 2020) and was determined to find the original when I arrived home. I used listen to this music as a young man. Now in my later years, it has so much more meaning. But I had no idea Yolanda Adams is the lead... her along with the organ and that amazing bass are outstanding! This song is a complete package. It feels wonderful to hear genuine “gospel music” that touches the soul. God”s peace to all.

As a composer myself, I am finding it hard to luv much of the present choir material. I believe it would serve us well to revive the music that we know has yet a blessing even for such a time as this. This anointed style has much to do with spiritual warfare and not popularity, fortune and/or fame. I'm just sayin...

This song is just another example of what makes the LIVE gospel recordings of the 1980s so special. The live instruments, the audience reaction from being moved by the spirit all seem to come together to make so many LIVE recordings like this from the 1980s so powerful. It makes us feel like we are part of the audience.

This bring back memories of hearing this song on Sunday morning getting ready for church. This is like down south church music. I feel good after gearing this song.

OMG!! I absolutely love this song. It is from my childhood and I can remember hearing it for the first time as a little girl. It caught my attention and it has so much annointing, that even as a child, I could feel the annointing from this song. It gave me goosebumps then and it still does now. Sing Yolanda!!!
