I grew up with singers like this. My Mothers side of the family 8 were Quartet singers. Pastors Teachers. My mother married my Father who was a Pastor found 3 churches still going. My mother's mother became a prayer warrior when she gave her heart to Jesus. I was so blessed. So thankful I had a family that prayed.

I've wished for so many decades past that I could sing like Vestal Goodman. After hearing this so long, long ago....(when Kim hadn't joined the Hoppers yet and this first came out)....that I could sing like her!!! She can flat get up there, belt it out and never appears to be a strain for her!! What a God given talent!! Love the Greenes and the Hoppers!!!!❤❤❤❤

The amazing thing about the Greene's was that when Kim left to marry Dean Hopper, Amy Lambert replaced her and she sounded just like Kim! When Amy left the next one had the same sound. Then Tony married Taranda, and she's got the same amazing voice of Kim and Amy! That is so rare in groups with ever-changing members. They never stopped, until Tony died. Taranda is still singing beautifully.

Dean is playing the drums because their drummer left. They offered me the position not long after this but I did not take it because a good friend of mine used to be their piano player and said all they did was argue on the bus, Daddy Greene ran things back then. Little did I know that I would be a guidance counselor at the school where this was filmed.

I remember listening to them when they got their start many years ago. We have their first two records (yes vinals) and they impressed me back then. I was young but even then I knew they would sing for the Lord for the rest of their lives. What a blessing to watch this. Hated to hear of tonys passing but he's singing with the angels. He sure was a blessing to so many people in his life and Lord what a testimony he left behind.
