She got mad at Serena when she thought she sent the video and Chuck, but when she finds out when Dan actually did it she forgave him yeah the writers really screwed up Blair's character this season. Why would she get mad at Chuck and Serena when she thought they did it but was "ok" when she finds out Dan actually did it makes no sense

"it needs to be as equals" yeah that's a load of crap she never stopped loving him and yet she is treating him like she doesn't want him right now. That's what I hated about Blair this season she still loved him and yet she was all like "we can't be together right now" the writers screwed her up this season. She's been in love with him though out the whole season the only reason why she isn't with him is because the writers wanted to give her and Dan a shot if it wasn't for that they would have put her and Chuck back together already

Exactly. It was pretty bizarre. And they inadvertently ended up ruining the Dan/Blair friendship in the process by turning Dan into a semi-villain. The minute Blair went back to Chuck, Dan was all for blowing up her & everyone else’s life with some big exposé. It revealed him as a hypocrite.

The only explanation I can come up with for Blair’s behavior with Chuck is losing her baby. I feel like her miscarriage and then watching Chuck nearly die the same night made her fear loving anyone too much. Its her way of controlling loss. It’s why she insisted on marrying Louie, despite admitting she’d “grow into loving him.” And why she suddenly had feelings for Dan, but could never tell him she loved him because the next time she says it will be “the last time.” It’s also why she kept everyone at arm’s length after the accident. But the show does a really sloppy job portraying this. They make Blair seems heartless at times.

@Rentlover06 Well Dan did love Serena more than he loved Blair knowing that she was his first love, he did cheat on Blair with her when he and Blair were still together so yeah that pretty much says it all

I think Dan used Blair as a way to cope when he couldn’t be with Serena, and then subsequently fell in love with her because he found out she more than just the shallow, premadonna he originally thought. She enjoyed old movies, history, art, and was a legitimately hard worker at W. And I think Blair never truly loved Dan, hence why when she kissed him in S4, she said she felt nothing. Then after losing her baby, and Chuck nearly dying, she loses herself in the process. Same as when she lost Yale & runs to Nate. She sparks up a relationship with Dan, but can never say I love you. All as a way to avoid any emotional risk.
