This is indeed an earlthly battle between the married couples,the marriage certificate still defends their first relationship in the church however , the church may not defend them since they seem to have left the church where they were joined from. If possible let them involve elders, and follow the law as we pray for justice. Let the children stay a away from this battle since they didn't participate in development of these two.

Had Francis Kakuru the lawyer been smart, these properties would have been transferred to a family trust where the children would be the principle beneficiaries before the divorce. Otherwise, for now he is entitled to 50% of their assets and liabilities. Let him get his Shs 5 billion and restart his life!
