Brother Kenny Hinson had a magnificent voice, and nobody else has been able to sing his brother Ronnie's songs as well as Kenny. Our tragic loss, and his family's, was Heaven's gain, and now there's some California country gospel in the Heavenly choir's songs of deliverance and praise. My father, his uncle, my sister and my uncle's daughter had a gospel group back in the leisure suit days, and after Willie Wynn left the Oak Ridge Boys, my brother was part of "Destiny", one of Little Willie Wynn's groups after the Oaks went country. Willie joined us at our south Georgia country church one day, around a piano that had belonged to my family before my parents donated to the church. We sang "I Don't Know why Jesus Loved Me" 2 or 3 times, (my brother's audition, unbeknownst to us) and I still get goosebumps thinking about that afternoon. I want to thank you for the many Oak Ridge Boys albums you have shared, and those of the Happy Goodmans' and the Rambo's. Those 3 groups and the Hinsons defined the top tier of southern Gospel, at least to me, and I thank God for you and the many wonderful memories you're bringing back to me
