Ive had my 2 ukes for a year now and ive never even thought about cleaning it. I play it daily... sometimes for hours. I don't see anything that looks like dirt or grime. Weird. But I will clean it and i probably need new strings right about now.

That's ok :). You've been play ing for a shorter amount of time, and you really wouldn't need to because I know you have the Nova u ukuleles :). I have a video where I do clean my nova U, and you can see how easy it is to clean.

Well all my ukes are brand new not evn a fortnight old Nad I have abs carbn fibre nova u pro and 1 air nova transparent and rest of the enyas have richlite frets But my care routine is washing my hands with soap and then dry them so that there is no oilly hands and ofcourse no one is allowed to touch my ukes especially the wood ones Air nova transparent is basically my sharing uke its novel as well 100 %abs so no worries there
