This is very informative, but a lot to listen to and comprehend, plus read the comments to figure what I missed. Reformatted SD card 2x so far. I've clicked inside the unzipped folders to copy files to the SD card. Then discovered many folders in the zip from Repo are different (slightly) than on the SD card. So do I copy NFC into nfc, or NFC contents into nfc As a Software Eng, I'd recommend that archaic tool, a flow chart. A concise readme pinned after this video would probably answer 90% of the questions. Thanks again!

If I'm dragging & dropping with sd card in my computer do I drag & drop the the entire file e.g. ( drag & drop the downloaded ** UNIRF ** folder to the UNIRF fold on the SD card ) or ( drag & drop the ** COUNTENTS ** of the downloaded UNIRF fold into the UNIRF folder in the SD card. Also if there's a zip file within the subfiles does that need to be extracted?

if you have issues uploading large files, it might be because the flipper zero automatically disconnects from the pc after a set amount of time if you have a pin code set. Just deactivate the pin when installing stuff.

if your planning on using custom firmware you need to update to the latest official firmware FIRST though like qflipper and then install the custom firmware AFTER that.

great thing is the flipper i dont know about he offical firmware but you can get a guitar tuner application to turn your guitar to the correct notes. now you can use the flipper and the guitar at the same time.

@@AttractionSpot I did not know there was a tuner app. The Spider Line 6 amp also has a built in tuner. I can get really close by ear on the guitar, Never can get the fiddle or the Mandolin. My fiddle is electric, so I can use the amp. but the Mandolin is not. that is a great tip.

I copied the RM FW to the SD directly and through Qflipper and when I go to the Update\RM my flipper zero it shows this folder is empty ,,, when I check the SD card it shows it has all the files but again my F0 is not seeing them inside the folder

I’d definitely want to see “for entertainment purposes only” a video outlining what this thing is capable of truly “hacking” (in the colloquial sense). It seems it is just a really good sniffer and emulator, but no one really explains in detail brute force attacks, and what this thing is actually capable of doing (with or without adapters) and how to do it. People buy this thing to live out their watch dogs fantasy, not make copies of rfid tags, or remotes they already have access to. They buy it specifically to have access to things they can’t normally access. Thus a video for “entertainment” would be nice

Thats what I want too as I have that grage door opener and unfortunately right now until we can get the keeloq code from the manufacturer whch they wonr give out or someone somehow hacks it and finds it out we currently dont have a way to use it on the flipper zero. The closest someone has is they recorded and captured 10 button presses far enough away from the garage so that it doesnt receive the signal to the garage door or you would use a jammer to block it from reaching the garage door but people are trying to analyze that code. Someone ona form supposedly has someone they know with the keeloq code but they havent been willing to give it out. Not sure if this is legit or not though if they really have it.

You wont be able to find them sold on ebay though as they have banned the sell of the flippers on there.

How well dose the brute force work if anyone’s used it ?

as long as you have the right frequency it can brute force pretty well its just slow at doing it since it has to go through over 4000 codes. if you dont have the frequency or the brand you would have to go though each brute force frequency it has going through the over 4000 code for each frequency. Also if you dont know the brand of sub ghz your brute fprcing you would have to repeate the above steps for reach brand. So the more infor you have about the sub ghz your brute forcing the less time consuming it would be. If whatever your hacking has hopping frequency it really wont work well or if it uses rolling code the stock firmware has this disabled but its built into the hardware so you would need to get the custom firmware like Unleashed or something. But then for that you would need like keeloq or something from the manufacturer so that the flipper can know the rolling code pattern.
