Happy birthday!!!! Trying to do large group events for my bday started to take the fun out of it for me. Life happens, cancelations, people just bailing for no reason. A lot of times ppl don't give you the same energy that you give them. I started just doing things with me and my hubby. Went to the Maldives this year just the two of us. Happy birthday! I know your birthday wasn’t how you envisioned it to be, but I hope you were able to enjoy it as it was. One thing I’ve learned over the years, we all have our own lives which comes with its own ups and downs etc. and it changes our day to day with those we hold close, especially when they have a sufficient other and or family. But somehow you’re expected to be there in their time of need or celebration. I don’t know you personally, but after watching you over the years, I feel like I do. Set your boundaries. Remember this will pass. I love the summer bucket list ( I’m going to have to borrow this idea for my nieces). Let Yosh have it. She is wanting to still be in your presence, as a pre-teen. It’s not everyday it’s a one time thing. She seems to be trying to get the hang of being responsible.
