The Volvo c30 will make 300+ horsepower and 400 trq with just a downpipe and a tune. Those motors also make a ton of torque and have a super good powerband. If u shim the block and put a bigger turbo on those you will make 400-500 horsepower all day long(they also sound awesome). Don’t sleep on whiteblocks

The c30 was definitely capping I had a Volvo S40 t5 AWD that had an intake, downpipe, and an OTS stage 2+ tune. It would hang with lightly modified 370z but would get gapped by v8s from rolls a BOV and a tune are NOT enough hang with V8s😂

Those Volvos have the worst cabin air filter I have ever done. You have to take the gas pedal out. That last kit on an e92 (the coupes) 335is doesn't look half bad with the right wheel and tire set up. That one is trash. But i have seen kits like that look pretty good

I actually met the owner of the Veloster at a meet one time. The story of his ownership was that he had a 3 way trade where he traded his Fox body mustang for a C5 corvette and then traded his C5 corvette for that Veloster. He shows up to a meet the same day he buys the car. Kinda crazy because I would’ve personally kept the C5.

3 doors usually includes the hatch. Volvo 242 is a Volvo 240 (2 door) for example while a Volvo 965 is a Volvo 960 Wagon (4 door + rear hatch) Its an old naming style that i think people just kinda carry over through the years for different cars

coupe and sedan actually have nothing to do with the amount of doors, Drew. We just label coupes as 2 doors and sedan as 4 doors. A sedan was a bigger car with a flat roof and a coupe is a shorter car with a sloping roof in the back. There are plenty of 4 door coupes and 2 door sedans still made today. Coupes were sportier than sedans, but the amount of doors were of no relevance. in different terms, the CLS influenced and evolved the commonly-accepted definition of the term coupe. While the word continues to denote a car with two doors, it can also describe a four-door model with a sleeker-looking design than a standard sedan or SUV

I actually had a 09 c30 2.5T with a built P1 2.5T bottom from a Focus mk2 rs and put a shark stg 3 tune on it but with a borg warner k24 turbo, they are nasty after 3rd gear and can hang with pretty much what that guy said BUT you're not racing those without all supporting mods which bro doesn't have (if he does didn't list) catless dp, intake, bigger injectors, black mamba wastegate and not a stock bottom end. I raced a 5.0 near Knoxville a few years ago in it when it was just an intake, cat delete and tweaked wastegate. I won after staying in the throttle a solid minute or so, zero top end with stock k04..

Some engines are wild man. For instance my 4.0 only pushes like 183 hp. If i atroke it to a 5.0 it opens it to 300 ish instantly. Ifni then add a turbo to that stroked engine it doubles instantly. If i tune it to run perfectly for the conditions it could get a little more than 600hp. For around 3 grand.
