Rick firing up one of his mod sleds. The Price Performance 2-stroke triple at 1029cc, 245hp, 155 ft lb. of torque. It has a Polaris primary and a Paragon secondary. 162"x16"x3" track.

I used to snowmobile for years! ... (northwest Pennsylvania lake effect snow was amazing! Still is sometimes) anyways... ive owned many new ones and the last sled i had was a Yamaha sx 700 triple. OMG! It was the smoothest running, awesome sounding, most reliable and powerful engine of ANY sled i ever owned. Cant buy them anymore.. and some friends have died off so.. i gave it up. Was fun though. 👍

@@peterwelch5691 .... my 700 sx always started .. 3 pulls Max... i cant remember the year it was... not FI... had flat slide carbs and it really ripped!

I have a 670 which that was made a while back, when skidoo said that their engines were smaller than they were, so it being called a 670 is so that you pay less registration and insurance.. off topic i guess. Either way 700’s rip. All i ever had to do is clean the carbs and usually first pull.

Had a triple 1000 arctic cat done to the nines love the sound of a good triple. My next sled was an turbo apex ya 330hp made my thunder cat look like a kids sled🤷🏼‍♂️

Might not cold seize, but it causes 4 corner wear on the skirt and rings, Leading to Loss of compression more quickly.
