@@tomtruesdale6901 I think the internal is lubed by the hydraulic fluid but there is no chain lube like a gas saw.

@dmark6699 The LimbSaw LS8 Chainsaw actually has a self-oiling system, a needle valve that allows a small flow of hydraulic oil to the chain/bar. You can typically get 200 cuts per a quart of oil.

Josh, our electric Cooperative up here, has those saws on their buckets (Cherry picking buckets). That's the 1st time I saw that ever. Pretty neat. When they're here you want to grab them and say, 'hey can you half this tree down?'. Their good guys, they would may or not do it! Don't kick yourself for breaking stuff, it's part of learning.

Neat to see this on a loader since I've seen this on Tim's channel with one of his larger tractors and a rear mounted power pack. I think the extra hydraulic power from the loader makes it run about the same as a tractor with a power pack.
@limbsawАй бұрын
@rcpsu4 Very neat! And you are correct about the hydraulic power. The LS8 Chainsaw requires 7gpm of hydraulic flow and the LSC Circular Saw requres 10gpm of hydraulic flow.

Some loaders have a safety switch that makes them inoperable with the door open . I think that would be smart on that machine
@dustybawls56039 ай бұрын
If you pay attention to what he said I believe that he had the door closed when he broke it. The machine articulates at the middle and the cab swung out and hit something.

Little known fact. Zip ties were invented in 1958 by Maurus C. Logan, called Ty Rap originally, who worked for the company Thomas & Betts. Just a little FYI….🤔

I would imagine an arm next to the chain saw blade to keep the limb from pinching on the bar would be a great upgrade. My only issues for over head limbing with a saw is the bar being pinched between the falling branch and the rest of the limb.
@limbsawАй бұрын
@sgtvolcan The LimbSaw LS8 Chainsaw actually has a reversible motor, helping to back out of a pinch! With the chainsaw, you will also be making cuts from above the limb, using the weight of the saw to cut through. When you have a large and heavy limb, we do recommend small under cuts and multiple cuts starting from the outer limb, allowing to cut weight off before the final cut.

Please tell me how flat face couplers are better ? On my farm tractor .
@limbsawАй бұрын
@jasonpinniz1905 There are actually two types of quick connect couplers that we offer with the LimbSaw! The flat face are for skid steers, and then the Pioneer are for tractors.

Watch Dirt Perfect and Limbater he built. Fits both excavator and skidsteer. Excavator will reach about 40 ft.
@limbsawАй бұрын
@kipcudd7253 Dirt Perfect did a great job on his custom build! The LimbSaw can be installed on tractors, skid steers, backhoes, skid loaders, excavators and more! As long as your equipment has the correct amount of hydraulic flow top operate the saw - the LS8 Chainsaw requires 7gpm and the LSC Circular Saw requires 10gpm. On average loaders, you can reach 18-21 feet.

does the saw spin 90 or 45 degrees? I see it doesn't. I get it, it's a limb tool. woo!
@limbsawАй бұрын
@clickinchicken The LimbSaw LS8 Chainsaw does not rotate - but the LimbSaw LSC Circular Saw can be manually rotated into vertical or horizontal cutting positions. Moving into the new year, we will also have an upgrade option for a swivel receiver, that will allow the LSC Circular saw to rotate into a 45 degree angle!
