If you want the proposal to actually describe a workable process, though, then the proposed process data has to be correlated with data from actual current operations, compiled, summarized, and integrated with the requirements for the new process before being formatted as a formal proposal. Actually, if he had pushed too hard, he would have lost a job he loved, so it was better to go with the flow. I had a place I worked at that said if you clock in one minute late you get docked 15 minutes. Supervisor decided to say if you will be one minute late, you may as well not clock in until 15 minutes after Clift start. We started doing that. Want to guess how much it hurt production? But we were COMPLYING with orders. The supervisor was replaced about a month after that.
