I like to think it’s the same characters in different slightly altered universes with different situations. I’ve seen other manga channels do that and it’s honestly really fun to see all the different variations of the same familiar faces. Keiichi has had quite a few personality changes, from quiet and passive to downright savage. And while his appearance usually stays the same, (with the occasional switches from brown eyes to grey or blue eyes and black hair to blue) Nagisa, Yui, and Noa (the usual main ladies) have gotten COMPLETE APPEARANCE MAKEOVERS multiple times… with different eyes, different hair, and even different last names! It’s so fun to see all the different combinations! 😄😄
