For me it's important to mention that the "you wouldn't love her if she was a fly" is extremely hyperbolic and twisted as the bishops do, because well yes usually the looks go into play and can cloud a person's mind, however humans do not spontaneously turn into literal flies and monsters, it's going too far. It's forcibly crossing the line of impossibility. It's an unfair argument.

With Capella, I think that her rationale is that by turning people into disgusting creatures that can no longer be loved by anyone (since physical desire would disappear), she can be the only person in the world that 'loves' them, and thus gain their love in turn. I think deep down she WANTS to feel loved, but because Archbishops be twisted as fuck, she can only believe in lust while denigrating love (which ironically is what she truly desires). Would fit in nicely with the Archbishops so far, Petelgeuse loved the Witch and wanted her love (even though she never had eyes for him), Sirius talks constantly about becoming one with love and her love for her husband Petelgeuse, Regulus has a fuckton of wives. They desire love, but their twisted ideals turn it into a macabre horror.

The reveal of Al in the Break Time episode was actually content skipped from Season 1. In the original story, this conversation took place when Subaru was getting a lift from Al and Priscilla to the castle at the beginning of Arc 3. It’s probably the biggest thing novel readers have been freaking out about. We were hoping for a more graceful, anime-original reveal somewhere at the start of this season. Putting it in a Break Time episode has been controversial, to say the least 🤣

My thoughts on this Epiosode: -The artificial spirit is probably Beako for an obvious answer, but it would be interesting if there would be another one, but also why do they want her? -How will Subaru get his leg back, can Felis fix it, or will he die and restart from where? -I did not expect Capella to basically be a better Ditto, but Sirius' Authority is still something too unique and stimulating to miss, so why not both. -What is Anastasia's role here? I can't help but think it's too convenient for her to have a council of 10 basically lend Priestella to her hands and it would be a big PR stunt. -Will Julius loose against Roy, and what is Lye up to. -Anastasia seems to be the only candidate without powers or fighting capabilities, Emelia and Crush can throw hands, Felt has speed, Pricilla is probably stronger than all of them, so I'm thinking Anastasia got the brains, I'm telling you she probably anticipated the attack and gathered everyone. -Ana's still getting my vote.
