I'm kindof amazed JayVeeTV didn't grow up hearing all this music as a kid. I was a kid of the 70-80 graduated hs in 88, but I got a heavy dose of 50s-70s music from my parents and their siblings. I rocked out to Nirvana and GNR in college, but I grew up on Elvis, Zep, Fats Domino, Blondie, Stones, ELO. It as if the younger generations didn't have a musical history much beyond their generation. It's odd.

All of them are from New Edition. The main lead si gers went solo, and no one thought they could do anything without them. So they formed their own group and proved them wrong. New Edition has so much talent in one group. Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, and Bell Biv DeVoe. Had hits solo and together.

When I worked in the mall in 1990. I worked at a store called 'Silverman's', it was a young man's store (older teenager to late 20's early 30's). It was a really cool store. The clothes that you see in the video, is what we sold. That being said. Our soundtrack was the most amazing sound tract EVER!!! We listened to all kinds of dance/club mixes that you can think of. And whenever a great song came on, we would crank it up!! And this was one of the songs. My co-workers and I would start dancing and some of the time, some of the mall shoppers would stand outside our door and start dancing with us....lol..... Great times in the early 90's. This has always been on favorite song!!

These three members (Ricky Bell, Mike Bivens, and Ronnie Devoe) of New Edition really had a huge hit with this song! They took a little hiatus from NE to do something different. Mike Bivens was the genius behind their sound along with the groups, ABC and Boys to Men!! This was the jam in 1990 when it was release and I still crank it up! ❤️❤️

I'm so glad you found this Video. The Three Guys Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins & Ronnie Devoe are part of New Edition which was an Outside Project. They helped epitomize "New Jack Swing" which was also popular with Guy (Featuring Teddy Riley). Michael Bivins also discovered the Tween Group Another Bad Creation with the hit Ayesha, and Boyz To Men who are Icons. They were the Only Boy Band next to One Direction (UK) who not only had "Hits" with each other but "without" each other. Duran Duran were in the same Boat with The Power Station and Arcadia.
