For whatever reason, this oldie popped up in my feed today & I’m so glad it did.! I usually use my book guts just for a glue book to put glue on pieces for my journals. Then I tear them off & use for tags, journal cards etc later but there are way to many to use up so I often just toss in the trash. Thanks to this video, I will now stop a minute & keep the things handy to make a book page paper. Such a great idea. Thanks for sharing. Waste not, want not.

When I was little (in the 60’s) my mom always had an old book (she would refer to it as “the Scrapbook). On rainy days she would get out “The scrapbook” and we would Scrapbook all day. My favorite was cutting out pictures from “The Sears Christmas Catalog”. Watching you “collage” makes me remember 🥰. Mom would have so much fun doing this, I am grabbing my granddaughter to Collage and Scrapbook with me. ThankYou for the tips❣️

My canary died and one cat passed on. Then to make matters doubly bad my niece passed away from pancreatic cancer. Watching you just makes me smile. Big hugs. ❤️❤️❤️

Pam. when you put the pattern paper on the first page (lovely!) you were right - one couldn't sand the excess off, because the page was too thin. But, if you sand it before you tear the page off, the block of pages would allow you to sand. I much prefer sanding to scissor cutting.

When I make Hidden Paper clips like these, I will put a jump ring into the clip before I glue it in the paper. Then, from the jump ring I will make a dangle of beads (or yarn or ribbon). I love this idea of using up the pages like this. I also use Mod Podge to glue the napkins to the paper.

I like it that you mention adding teeny tiny pieces. When I print digitals, I always print something usable on the back, specifically so that I have something usable at hand after cutting things out. When I use a punch, or stamp/mark shapes to fussy cut with scissors, I punch and cut as close together as possible, which leaves very pretty little lacy pieces and strips, which come in very handy even if I glue a few of them end to end, or to form a shape to create a frame.
