I mix it up, shop online for essential items, do the pick up curbside. Lock the car and head to Barnes & Noble, order coffee and a danish at Starbucks. Comfortable and content. Go home happy. ❤

I get the flu & covid shot every August. I notice at my local Rite-Aid no employees on the floor but still open 24-7. People just grab stuff & walk out ..employees are told to not encounter them.

I think it's mostly that nowadays they can't do anything about theft. They used to stop them or catch them as soon as they left the store. Now store management fires people that approach thieves. They just have to sit and watch them take anything that they want. I think that security, when they are there, are more for safety than theft prevention. 😌

There's got to be a better way than to beg someone to unlock an item so you can give them your hard earned money.

@@eclecticvideosvlogsandmore I know. It took me over an hour to get someone to unlock a bike at Walmart. I kept stopping employees who said they would "get someone" with a key. It was hard enough finding an employee who COULDN'T help me, much less one that could. 😢 I think they should just grab the thieves and hold them accountable.

@progkast I've had that experience at Walmart, too . Only one person had the key. And then, at least at that time, they had to take the item to a cashier and not give it to you. Then you had to play ' where's my item'... someone just commented here that they are glad it's all locked up. Never heard that one!

Are you sure? You don't mind waiting for someone to come open up an item, then go to the next isle or across the store and wait again for another item. Then oh, wait, I need shampoo. I guess I'll go find someone to open that. And so on..

@@eclecticvideosvlogsandmore That´s why I do most of my shopping online. That, and that it is cheaper, and I can find things the stores don´t have. 😳 I only get food groceries in the actual store. Even much of that, like electrolyte drinks & coffee, I get online. Sad, but true.

It's like I wrote about around the start of covid. Everything is geared towards ' Stay Home! Don't go out, stay home' and I'm not talking about covid orders.The banks, the post office, stores, they don't want to see your face and have to offer customer service. Stay home and isolate until you've lost all friends, family, your sanity, and ant hope. Have a nice day! 🤣🥲

I was one of the ones that thrived during the covid shutdowns. I loved it! Different strokes for different folks. Have a good one. ✌😬
