This topic reminded me of a lithography class in college. A slab of calcium carbonate, was drawn on with a grease pencil. After the picture was drawn, nitric acid was brushed over the surface of the stone. You couldn't tell if the acid was burning down the stone's surface enough. The grease pencil marks served as a resist. The teacher would direct students how long to brush on the acid. Then student would wash off the acid, take the slab to a printing press and print off however many copies possible. Sometimes not more than 3 or 4 because the image became unclear after a few printings. I said all that to say how much do we go through troubles and trials in this life and beg release from it? Will we trust our teacher, our Savior, to lead and guide us through His process!!?
