I have adored his music for years. I can't understand/comprehend how musicians can continually write great music. I have seen him numerous times in the last twenty years and have met him probably the same amount of times. I created a portrait of him some time ago, brought it to a show of his in Madison, WI, and had him autograph the painting. It is my most favorite piece of BC memorabilia I own.

I love Bruce! I have since I was 10 years old, when I went to my first ever concert and saw him in concert at Massey Hall. My older brother took me. It was a memorable experience, so much so that I continued to go to Bruce's concerts over the years. I'm 62 now and I still love Bruce!

I adore Bruce. He models deep human kindness, intelligence, charity and humility for me. I have seen him in concert a dozen times, spoken with him in person, and now honor him remotely.

I love Bruce and his energy and spirit is so welcome and simpatico to my experience. He has the trifecta of musical virtuosity, deep life experience, and the gift of a poet. The past 37 years of my life have been peppered with his music being important in my life. I continue to go through periods where I will listen to his entire catalog with extreme focus and dedication. I’m in one of those seasons now. I don’t currently come from the Christian/Abrahamic world view and yet his poetry still rings so authentic. Everyone wants to see justice done on someone else. Wisdom, right there.

Thank you Bruce, I’m 60 now & I enjoyed your music growing up.Can you believe what the world has come to!!!! I really heart felt your music, you tought me about loving people, animals trees ,& the earth. We live in Alberta now, but had lived on the west coast for 12 years, I remember living & feeling every moment of it ,the sea side, the fish, clam digging, the air, the rain the FOREST! I am very greatfull for having the opportunity, I can never forget when we went camping with our kids to fairy lake, not far from port renew, to show them the beauty of where we lived,,& how lucky we are to be where we are. We were driving up on the hill over the top of the mountain,& my soul just dropped ,as it had been clear cut, CRUSHED I was to see that!!!! I learned a lot from that ,and always try to teach my kids & grandkids to RESPECT our world & people, we are blessed to live on a street in the capital city with large trees that bow over the road, ( I talk to them,on my many walks). One of our kids live in. Whitecort ,and we go & enjoy nature there when we can. Thanks for sharing your music ,& the touch of reality! Cuddles from Canada 🌸🌺🌼🇬🇧🇨🇦

I've loved Bruce's music since the 70's.. long before coming to faith. I say this in love, as a Christian. It's not what you or I think about an issue. Rather, it's what does God think about an issue? What does His Word say about it? That is the plumb line, not politics or faulty human logic.

That you for a fascinating interview with someone who has been a big influence. (And from Rostrevor on the UK Mainland. I was at the centre there many years ago when Cecil Kerr was running it).= Really hoping a visit from Bruce to this side of the Atlantic will be possible soon. Couldn't quite make out what was written on Bruce's T shirt...

now I'm certain it was you , Bruce, who i met one day at a beautiful little café in kincardine Ontario on a beautiful day. but i had to hop in my truck and drive away. 2008 ish. the lions are here! Don't worry. Time is near. Imprecatory prayer is better than death and destruction. There won't be an end to this till Yahushua returns. .

You're right I think Bruce. The actual word for God is a verb. When asked "who shall I say sent me?" the answer translates something like I am aming.

Seems there will always be things politically etc that are not reconciable really doesn't it!Human condition remains same for most part globally! And now with the advent of technology and everything instant seems that we are all less private yet all a part! Bruce talks about tribalism that's so true but it's also tribe against tribe so people feel a need to take sides often times fed up with thinking 🤔! Its subtle yet not so subtle its a prevalent mood taking over the ones who try to be in the middle are the ones discarded by the tribes left or right!Bruce is intuitive for sure sees 👀 the complexity that perhaps the tribes cannot or will not maybe! That can to some extent be recognized in his art as well obviously! I followed his career keenly since a young teen!Met him once brief conversation was at a loss of words in a way would have loved to have had a conversation with him more in depth suppose being as I followed him decades! But these interviews are good !At first listen rocket launcher was a good song however it's overplayed like wondering where lions are so my least fave 2 songs even though both good songs 🎵! There's a whole reptoire of songs that are I feel much better that I particularly like as in Rose above the sky and Creation Dream etc which to me are absolute masterpieces of 🎶 music and feeling and lyrically touching!

I’ve always been a fan of Bruce’s music, though not always of his politics or religious views at times. As for the historicity of Jesus, he is either who he says he is or a liar ( or a lunatic or the devil himself according to CS Lewis). When John the Baptist questioned to who he was, Jesus pointed to His miracles, confirming His claim to being the Son of God. If Jesus told Nicodemus that he needed to be born again, then we need to be, too, as a starting point. As to his comment on how you can believe in banning abortion and not believe in banning capital punishment, I wonder how you can believe in banning capital punishment and not banning abortion.

Abortion seems to be more about getting votes, ie. is a political football used to capture certain churches... it’s clearly a slippery subject, but I’d make the point that ‘they’ have basically turned sperm and eggs into ‘babies’... as in where do they stop? Is A fertilized egg actually a baby? It’s got a soul and a psyche a body, etc? They can’t deal properly with the fact that ‘babies’ are not being ‘killed’, but something else is, like the potential for one. Doesn’t mean I’m pro-abortion whatsoever, but I am far more anti political manipulation... using politically motivated moral inventions (false equivalency) to enrage people for their vote/power... then pretending to be morally superior because of it-never recognizing the cost... (like motb). (And it seems like the flat earth theory, in the sense that it’s more about what they ‘believe’ is going on behind the scenes, with organ harvesting, and sacrifices to Baal, etc.) (I believe politics is deadly for these kind of reasons, how we give our power to a proxy for issues that we have been manipulated for us to see only in one specific way-if we are Christians... It’s like straining out the gnats, while swallowing camels.) Regarding Bruce’s faith, etc... it sounds like he’s not very awake or solid in his faith. As he’s not acting like God is here and that everything foretold is clearly coming to pass as it was written. Gb

Capital punishment was to be reserved for murderers. Unborn babies are not criminals and have committed no crimes so abortion is wrong on all sides. I understand what you said Brent Browning about how people will believe in banning capital punishment but they don't want to ban abortion.

I was about to respond to Bruce in a similar way especially over the abortion issue. Scripture makes it clear that we were known by God before the world began. Jeremiah 1 1 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

I always scratch my head when people talk about, what is referred to as, the religious right. I know a lot of these people, and they are as diverse in their opinions as other definable groups. Do they find politicians on the right more in line with what they believe in? Liberals do the same. Does it mean the left is monolithic, as the religious right is often described? I know of no communities in the US where someone is afraid to express a liberal opinion for fear of violence. Alternatively, when I'm with a bunch of liberals, they have group think, too. It's absolutely predictable what they are going to say. The thing with people who even think Christianity is in some way worthy of any observance, have to struggle with directives like if you have two coats, give one away. Not tax the guy with 10 coats & make him give away 5. People on the left & the right in the US all pad their life with disposable income, yes, on different kinds of padding. Seems that might be some common ground for people who aspire to be set aside in some way by a transcendent power, than the usual observations on one group has become totally unreasonable.

In many ways liberalism attempted to replace God, albeit most definitely it was a false god. Time to make only God God once again. Follow His laws only. Our common future depends on it.
