This one got me too for my first time, i loved them ever since(seen them live also). This song is still one of my favorits, the insanity of cute and very heavy metal in this song makes it for me an ultimate definition of kawaii metal. Still can't listen much to anything else than BM, always need a daily dose😉

I've said this in other comments, I think hearing certain Babymetal songs will give you that holy cow moment like when you first hear something awesome when you were young. Again ,for me I also had a emotional reaction, amazed that three young Japanese ladies evoke a similar response all these years later.🤘🦊🤘 Faith in younger generations and music restored.

In terms of which is the heaviest Babymetal song, I think the fan consensus is that Sis Anger is it, since it’s the song that leans closest to actual death metal.

Something to keep in mind about the Kami Band. They were all highly respected Musicians with a catalog of work in Japan. They were selected to be the performance/touring band for 3 teenage girls! They became internationally famous, touring the world with girls. In Japan they performed in the Tokyo Dome and many times at Budokan. All because of 3 teenage girls. Favorites; studio MV, Megistune; Favorite live, early Headbanger, Legend of 1997; favorite live late, Pa Pa Ya. Best WTF Babymetal Death, Legend of 1997!! As to heaviest, hands down - Black Babymetal, Sis Anger and GJ

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 FYI, Kami Band and your another favorite Band-Maid have been getting along for years. Actually, BOH and Misa, the two bassists, are following their twitters each other. My recommendation is "Kagerou", with solos by West (American) Kami Band. In BABYMETAL concerts, performers need a lot of energy and they require it to the audience. Last year, my smart watch indicated more than 600Kcal consumption after a show in Budokan 😄 (even without mosh pit in the all-seater arena). BM works well as workout. In an interview, Moa said she and Su were continuing hard physical training like first-class athletes even in the inactive COVID period . That is why they could perform flawlessly 90-minutes almost non-stop shows in 10 BABYMETAL Budokan concerts last year.

Kei Kobayashi aka Kobametal, the creator of Babymetal, uses some of Japan's Best Jpop, etc. composers to contribute in the making of these amazing songs. Sometimes several or more song writers work together all during the composition phase! Cheers! Next Babymetal song: BABYMETAL-Headbanger-1. Night of the 15 Mix-Live HD (watch & react to the vers. on Gans Tomas KZbin channel Channel!) With Ave Maria intro! This one is a totally INFAWKINGSANE Live, what I call Dance Club Mix vers. of Headbanger. It's also 9:50 awesome minutes! Bloody Bonkers Mate! Remember, Babymetal is #NOTACULT! Cheers!

Great reaction - and if this made you teary eyed just imagine what a full live performance would have done without all the jumping around from inside to outside, different costumes and missing out on parts of the choreo this compilation does would have done to you. The audio for this compilation was taken from the Budokan Black Night performance ... that one is on KZbin, safe to react to and even has English subtitles. 'Catch Me If You Can' is the best metal song about playing a game that's a sort of cross between tag, blind man's bluff and hide & seek I've ever heard. It is the perfect mix of the two extremes with the brutal instrumentals and the sweet vocals - and the game they are playing, they're playing with an Oni (a sort of Japanese ogre popular in regional festivals and used specifically to frighten children ... is it wrong that just the thought of that amuses me a lot?). The growling vocals (they are on a backing track) are the Oni asking things like "Are you ready?" and the best response has to be "Maada da yo" (No, not yet) while doing a running away from an Oni dance. BABYMETAL's heaviest song? 'Sis Anger' is definitely a contender. My favourite song? Whichever one I'm listening too - but 'Megitsune', Headbanger', 'Shine' and a few more are always at or very near the top of the list. Favourite performance? Metrock 2015 is a great way to spend 40 minutes, but every live concert is great on its own merits ... and yes, seen them live in London twice now and twice is never going to be enough..

The biggest plot twist in life, and M Night Shammy twist you can find, is going to a Babymetal show and being like "wait....a bunch of teenage Japanese girls are the most metal as fuck things we've ever seen?" Saw them a 3rd time last week, and even though it was the most expensive concert I've ever been to, I loved every second of it. There's literally nothing like your first Babymetal show, it's a love letter to heavy music, and just being a kid, and it somehow all just works, and they all are so amazing. Their current drummer and guitar player are my favorites in the last decade, I can't believe Anthony Barone is only 24. That means he absolutely ripped on drums 4 years ago at age 20 at The Forum. It gives me so much hope and trust in the younger generation. Best concert you can see on Earth right now and it's not even close. Watch an entire arena of people lose their minds over Babymetal and try to process it. Nothing about it makes any sense, but it makes perfect sense at the same time. Everybody involved deserves both a raise and a sincere pat on the back. It's genius.

Another fantastic reaction. Is this Babymetal's heaviest song? Musically, it may well be. Another couple right up there would be Sis Anger, a Black Babymetal song. Also, Kagerou is up there too. What is my favorite Babymetal song? I can't split between Kagerou and Megitsune, it depends on my mood. Oh ok, I can split them, it's Megitsune. Just because of how important the song is in the Babymetal story and the cultural referencing embedded in the song. It was a statement that they were going to be different and not be bound by rules placed on them. Keep up the great work.

Often artists can up their game by allying with even better artists. The Kami band in Babymetal is elite quality, talent, and skill... possibly one of the top 25-50 bands in the world in and of themselves; and yet, they hitched a ride to 3 rocket ships with these three amazingly talented and skilled girls. I regard Babymetal as one of the top 10 bands in the world. Your reactions are spot on, and I love them. Thanks.

This song is about "Kakurenbo" (hide-and-seek). But there is a twist... The girls are playing against an Oni (japanese ogre). At the beginning, the oni is asking "moo ikai?" (are you ready? 😈). To which the girls responded "mada da yo!" (not yet! 😺). Then at the chorus, the girls are teasing the oni with "oni-san kochira, te no naru ho e" (here Mr. oni, follow the sound of my clapping). Then they playfully run away from it (signified by the chorus choreo). 😻

Talking tears and emotions, then you can't go past Su metals performance of No rain no rainbow at the baptism xx concert in Hiroshima. Delicate piano intro, soaring powerful emotional vocals that piercing stare into the unknown by Su, then beautiful duel guitar solo su's teary eyes and the slight tremble in her vocals. If that doesn't melt your soul.

Nice reaction. You just don't know what you're going to get makes it fit that they have a song about chocolates. Forest Gump "life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you going to get until you bite into one". Yup Babymetal is a lot like that. And we're here for it. "Catch me if you can" is one of the fandoms favorite songs by them. Tears watching them is just tears of joy. A number one song by them is too hard to say. Often, it's the last song you listen to by them. Even top 10's are hard to decide. Favorite performances wooh. Even that can be difficult they have so many epic level performances they've done. For those who have seen them outside of those shows. The one they went to might me their favorite. It would be mine. I missed seeing them twice because I had to work and couldn't go to the show. Yes, kill me now moments. Especially since Yui and was still with them for one of those. Life of regrets. But work pays the bills. That's my compensation. The ones I've seen on video are amazing. One of the best entrances by them might be Legend S. In the Name Of. That was one of the most incredible starts to a show I've ever seen. The 10 years of Babymetal at the Budokan is up there too. Let me stop here or might just start naming all the big shows they've done. Enjoy the ride through the Babymetal galaxy of music.

For best live performance from a stage craft perspective....It's hard to beat "In the Name Of" from the Legend S show. For pure stage design...It has to be Tokyo Dome. Who does a 2 story stage...With a rotating center. 3 Wings in the shape of coffins with elevators at the ends + platforms on tracks/rails. BabyMetal ofc! Most intense crowd control moment. "Headbanger" Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2, 2020. Hardest song has to be "Sis Anger". Fastest most intense song. "Amore". Just a few opinions to throw in the mix.

Your comment about them being diverse is on point - and this has gotten more true with each album that they have released. No other band on the planet has done what they have done as a sum total in terms of innovation - namely, not only creating their own sub-genre of music, but also incorporating numerous musical styles into their songwriting, as well as adding elements of dance and theater to their live performances, which are among the absolute best in the world. I could go on about why they are at the top of the music world for a variety of reasons, but you can see the proof of this for yourself when you watch them. They have quite a few very heavy songs, but if you want to see the defining heavy performance from them, then react next to BABYMETAL Death from the Legend 1997 show. Here is a link to a post of this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIPGapeYnM51hqs As for BABYMETAL's "best" songs, that is highly subjective and almost impossible to answer. But a few of my personal favorites are "From Dusk Till Dawn," "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!," "Brand New Day," "BxMxC," and "Kagerou."

BabyMetal's finest? Definitely the September 2016 Tokyo Dome concert. First night, Red Night, first song, Road of Resistance, Moa briefly bursts into tears. Last song, The One, everyone in the audience is wearing neck braces with lights. 2/3 of the way through the song the lights come on in the braces. Su's jaw drops for three seconds (she is overwhelmed) but then she recovers and finishes the song.

Alternative: IDZ live at Tokyo Dome 2016, BMRR ch got that with watermarked logo for us and without it for you. - Megitsune, i always like to recommend the official MV because of the Japanese elements and visuals, just careful coz is heavily blocked. Alternative: live at Budokan 2014, only thing is many live versions like this one got spoilers at the start of certain part of the song. - Onedari Daisakusen, or any other Black Babymetal song, since you already know a SuMetal solo, this is a must but with the other girls only, you can find live at Legend 1997 version safe to react. Alternative: live at Budokan 2014, or live 2015 version on BMRR. There's a couple of more songs before jumping to "Tales Of The Destinies and The One" but is all good if you wanna go there after hearing the above, again BMRR and the live at Tokyo Dome 2016 is the best set, although the official MV of The One is beautiful too, only thing no live sound and heavily blocked. After this you can jump to 3rd album songs and go back and forth switching between albums if you want. When you get there just careful if you see someone recommending this songs that belongs to a special set called Trilogy Of Lights, those are in order: "Starlight, Shine, Arkadia". Again this is my humble suggestions going through kinda in order, but is all good whatever you decide as long as you doge those live compilations and leave it for second rewatch if you want 😅🤘

I Highly Recommend BABYMETAL - 'Megitsune'「メギツネ」(Red Fox Festival/Red Mass ver.) [LIVE PROSHOT] The Girls And Band Are On Fire, All Yui, Moa And Su, The Audience Is Mostly Women And Their Response Is Incredible. You Will Need A Hard Hat And A Box Of Kleenex For This One.

My favorite song is Megitsune and my favorite performance was the concert I went to :D it'll be forever in my mind. Heaviest song is probably Sis Anger, it's a Black Babymetal song (so only Yui and Moa) but to be fair, Catch Me If You Can is one of my favorites too. I love singing along with it!

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏃‍♀👹 This cute song is about playing a game that is like hide-and-go-seek, tag or blind-man's-bluff. Pursued by an "Oni"" which is a kind of Japanese Ogre, or demon. If not a real monster, than someone pretending to be one in order to terrify children. Good times! Kawaii Metal! If much of their charm is in the blending of the cute and the brutal, this song is a great example. They're both turned up to the max. The recurring "Maada da yo." part that Yui and Moa sing means "Not ready yet." They performed this song quite a bit in 2017, but not since. The last time I saw this one was in Chula Vista, California when they were on tour opening for Korn and Stone Sour. - I don't think I've seen you do a reaction to the BABYMETAL classic 'Megitsune' yet. The live performances are great, and the music video is a must see.

As much as I hate compilations this one isn’t too bad. Also you still owe it to yourself to do Headbanger from Legend of 97.

Please do "BxMxC" next! It's in my top 3 BABYMETAL songs (maybe not a popular opinion). I guarantee you it will blow your mind. I recommend this video for "BxMxC" kzbin.info/www/bejne/pn3SaYmYha9nr9U It's another compilation, but it's the best live footage of BxMxC on KZbin imo.

That's not a fly, that's the natural buzz you get from watching BABYMETAL. This song is sadly what I consider to be the biggest casualty of Yui Metal leaving, it has not been preformed since her exit. As for heaviest song? I'd have to say Sis Anger is their heaviest, which is a Black BABYMETAL song (which you've yet to react to any of those, those don't feature Su Metal). The musical changes in each song are one of the reasons I love BABYMETAL so much. My two favorite songs are Megitsune and YAVA! which I feel do the best giving the song a satisfying arc. So I guess if I were to have one recommendation this time it would be Megitsune, it's an oldie but a goodie, it was the third song of theirs I heard and what propelled them to my favorite band the night I discovered them. Also I'd consider their official video for that one to be their best non-live performance video.

Also allow me to add to my already long response to your video lol. I think the reason you get emotional every time you listen to a BM song is because of their effective use of musical changes, every song leads you on a musical journey every time you listen to it. End diatribe. :p

excellent content dude, they pull at heart strings is all I can think of, they affect different people in different ways, at first it's little girls jumping into the manly world of heavy metal, they are so brave, and as they grew older their fans kinda of adopt them into their hearts as little sisters or nieces or daughters, so many of us feel proud of them for what they have done and continue to do. like overcoming adversity and tragedy. How hard they have worked to be their best just for us, I am tearing up while typing this. you want some truly epicness? checkout "From Dusk Til Dawn" preferably from Budoken 2021.

My favorite performance is Fox Festival 2017. A lot of people love the early Babymetal performances, but I like them better when they've grown up. And the voices and music have become even better. You can compare this song, with 2017 version: Babymetal - Catch Me If You Can (Fox Festival 2017 Live) Eng Sub kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnbXeJqMmbmMbqc

@@rexeros8825 Me and some fans rewatch and compared their performance in 2015-2016 to Big Fox Festival, Yui's movements definitely were more stiff, less wide, and she don't seem happy and smile a lot like before
