I said this on their announcement video, but what a time to be alive. An Indian metal and Japanese metal band collabing on a song in three different languages (English, Hindi, and Japanese)? Im forever grateful that metal and music in general has come so far ❤️ this warms a piece of my soul in a way thats difficult to put to words I highly recommend looking into more of Bloodywoods music, namely Dana Dan (subtitles on), Aaj, Machi Basaad, Gadaar, and their other recent song "Nu Delhi." You'll find after looking into them that Bloodywood find the most aggressive ways to spread the most positive messages ❤️

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I have written comments on many reaction videos to the song [Shanti Shanti Shanti] : “BABYMETAL took a risk of being called ‘fake’ or ‘cheap copy’ of Indian music whereas they simply wanted to create their own metal music with comfortable Indian vibes paying their due respect to the culture.” Team BABYMETAL must have made diligent efforts to analyze, study and understand music and dance moves in Indian style. Their efforts have ended up with this “genuine collaboration” and BABYMETAL is now officially endorsed and acknowledged by new Indian music pioneers. This proves BM’s righteousness about what they have been relentlessly pursuing. I am now looking forward to what will these two bands look like on the same stage with choreo. Further, I am already thinking “what’s next?”

Welcome to Bloodywood G.O.T! They are an Indian Folk Metal band from Delhi. They started as 2 people (Karan Katiyar, guy with short hair and beard, playing guitar and other instruments (no spoilers here ;) ); Jayant Bhadula, guy with long hair and beard, singing and growls/screams), making joke metal covers of Pop and Bollywood songs (see f.e. Tunak Tunak Tun for that) and switched to original songs later, being joined by Raoul Kerr (bald guy, rapper), as well as Sarthak Pahwa (Dhol-Drum), Roshan Roy (bass) and Vishes Singh (drums). Since then their original songs have all had important and deep meanings. As a little sample: Gaddaar - song about corrupt politicians selling out their country and people Jee Veerey - song about fighting and overcoming depression and suicidal thoughts Dana Dan - song about the sadly big problem of rape-culture in India and the problem of rape in general ... other notable songs include Aaj (one of my favourites), Machi Bhasad (I believe the song where Raoul joined them), and Nu Dheli, the first song from their new upcoming album. Their first album "Rakshak" they produced all by themselves, and have already toured around the world, with the culmination probably being them having played at Wacken. They combine Nu Metal with Indian Folk Music, it's rythms, melodies and instruments (like f.e. the Dhol-drum, flute & more). They recently signed with fearless records, and are gearing up for their upcoming album and tour, so it's a great time to become a fan of theirs :).
