Getting the Best Out of the HP 365 Latex Printer

Had my HP365 for about 2 years now. Indeed always a learning experience with that printer, but it's a workhorse and very dependable. I've had a few minor issues but once you get to know it, you can really appreciate what it does.

I like your “watch for wildlife” sign! We had an issue in our town last year where one of the Town Councilors complained that he was tired of seeing dead turtles on the streets. So to appease him we had to come up with turtle crossing signs. I asked our PD/LTA what’s next, rabbit, squirrel and chipmunk signs?? Lol

I was asked to make stop signs in English and Spanish. I told them if the stop signs need to be in Spanish they shouldn't be driving. Stop signs in Mexico are the same shape and color.

Hey. I see you painted your edge holders flat black. Works much better. My biggest issue with the printer is lining up the Blank.

Hi Bob, I'm looking at purchasing a brand new HP 365. Just wondering if you've had any issues with it or would you highly recommend this machine?

@@StevenCarter-Flagg I haven’t have any problems so far. What I like about the HP 365 is it’s very low maintenance. The ink system can set for months and has no issues on start up. I can’t think of anything to talk you out of it. There is a learning curve though.

Hey Bob, so I have a KZbin channel as well that I put some of my work life on. Recently upper management discovered it and had a problem with it. I had to pull all my content and now have to write in formal requests to gain approval to post videos. What kind of hoops (if any) do you have to jump through with Napa to use your KZbin channel. Keep up the good work, I like seeing notifications when you post.

I'm lucy I'm the fact that my boss is okay with it. Most of my videos are done on my time, like lunch, breaks and sometimes after work. You might explain that it is a good resource to seek help and trade ideas. I have gotten help that has saved the county money for training. I have had people stop by my shop and we traded ideas that help both of us. What little money I make I buy things for the shop with it.

Hey Bob, can you show us how to clean the reflective before printing? Because when I try to print my reflective on my printer, it still has specks on the reflective even though I clean it with Denatured Alcohol and a clean Microfiber Rag.

I haven't had any problems with dirt on my material. I keep my materials stored upright on the plastic end caps the the rolls come on. I also cut the flaps off the box and cover the rolls. keep the shop clean is the best you can do. Try rolling out about 8' of material and wipe off with a clean rag to remove any dust.

Sometimes I do. The settings are important to make sure to get the entire image to print. I disable the edge guards, but I still use them. The edge guards will give you a smaller print area when trying to get the entire image to print.

Don't listen to his gibberish, if you want to go insane buy this GARBAGE printer, HP latex 365 or 360 is the worst printer on the planet, you should be given your money to children hospital and you will more satisfy doing that, EPSON is the King of all KINGS period

can i ask what material you used to print the orange roll up sign? was it the same as the 1st?

Yes you can. You just print the green over white material. We and color logos to our street signs too.
