As a goth DIYer, especially one who works with making jewelry, I do recommend getting at least one of "The Beadsmith 1-Step looper" tools. Although I could say I'm a professional at making loops, for custom made rosaries, these loopers makes it much faster and are easier to use. (They are very expensive but worth it if you plan on working with metal a lot.) Tools I got more of a hardware set rather than ones dedicated to jewelry making just because the quality is better. (Because quality cutters are hard to find in a jewelry making tool kit compared to an equal priced hardware tool kit.)

Very nice crafted item. But I have a suggestion, I’ve been a jewelry maker for years, get yourself full sized jewelry pliers it will save your hands. The reason you had trouble cutting through the wire with the snips is because there isn’t enough leverage with the short handles. But you seriously inspired me to continue finishing my cross jacket.

In my case, when my pants tear inside the legs, I take them apart and turn them into a skirt. With what remains of the pants, I usually make wallets or covers.
