It's awesome that you guys were able to see the totality. We were in the path of it where I live, too, and it was a similar Big Deal. Schools were out, local governments were prepared to close roads for traffic, stores were dead empty all morning. Totality was honestly one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Truly awesome.

Hello! I live in Guelph, Ontario and work from home. I live next to a forest and just before 3pm the clouds cleared. I was able to watch the eclipse on the edge of the forest on my break. Was AMAZING! I've always been interested in the subject of space in general. I find it fascinating and scary at the same time. Makes you feel like a speck of dust in the Universe. I really don't get why schools were closed. I remember when I was growing up the schools remained opened and we were able to see eclipses. Glad you ladies had fun! 🦇🌑🌒🌞🌜

Here in Arizona it was a little grey. I watched ABC news live and one newscaster referred to the eclipse as a moon shadow. So the light bulb went on and I googled Cat Steven's singing Moon Shadow from the 60s, Lol

The eclipse was amazing. I'm right over the lake in Rochester and it was so cloudy but honestly I was okay with that. It was so freaking gorgeous And Eerie. We even had the foxes and owls and bats come out in my backyard. Hung out with the crows prior too because I am a crazy crow lady. good luck packing for the thing coming up! See you in less than a week! And every outfit I'm bringing has at least one thing that I made Which I am excited about. Although watch, it's gonna be when I'm in my p j's that I run in to you and can't be like hey, thanks for helping inspire me get back into sewing! Haha

Amazing. When we had one here a few years ago it was nothing LIKE that dramatic - the light just went kinda weird. Not for nothin', but I love Jessica's reaction when you asked her to sing - a slight expression of irritation and contempt! :) Very cool video, ladies.

I had to work, but they did provide us with eclipse glasses to watch it when it happened...I originally didn't think too much about it. But I am so glad I watched it, it was so amazing. Here in NE Ohio it was a total eclipse 💜

I’m happy you got to experience an eclipse! I was all set as it said we had 90% visibility, ready to sit in my yard… but it barely got cloudy, sun out entire time, too chilly though😕. No biggie, in ‘99 we spent the eclipse on Glastonbury Tor where it was 98% visibility + I was about 7 mos preggers w/ kiddo; fabulous! So quiet & my precious🦇’s came out doing swoopies for me! (People freaked😂!) We were supposed to be in Cornwall where it was 100% visibility but the roads were parking lots, so we stayed put. Still have Chalice Well & Red Spring water I collected during the eclipse (special stuff, Mary knows😉)! Weird yr 2 Full moons in Jan, none in Feb, 2 Mar. Mar Blue Moon I got pregnant & shouldn’t have. This yr earthquake in NY, lunar eclipse, then solar eclipse + all the weirdo planetary stuff going on astronomically😮! J. 🧡🎸🎶⚡️🤘🦋🏍

Yeah. We know about Niagara Falls in Australia. In fact Niagara (starring Marilyn Monroe) is one of my favourite movies. Thanks so much for doing this video. I was watching news about the eclipse on the telly and was wondering if you guys were going to do something spooky and you did! No goth points lost at all. May all goth territories be un-invaded henceforth! Lol

Looks like you had a fun time! I just watched the eclipse on the NASA KZbin feed. I live about 5 hours north of the path of totality in Illinois and couldn't travel down state to see it. It just got sort of dim around here, kind of like a huge cloud passed over or a storm was coming.

Here in Arkansas I was at work but it somewhat stopped and got quiet. We were supposed to see more people but there wasn't that many out. We went outside when it was happening and just watched it. I would have rather been in a cemetery too but a manager of a tobacco store had to be at work.

It was overcast all day where I live in Minnesota, USA. Took a walk with co-workers but we saw nothing. Went to the cemetery where my grandparents were buried back in 2020 for Memorial day it was very busy.

i tell people i have to lose goth points too because I honestly love the sun Im very tropical and the heat makes me happy i actually love getting a tan but i love the gothic aesthic XD im complicated

The sun represents the father and the moon represents the mother (when it's full. When it's not full - waning and waxing, it represents the maiden and the crone). Hence, the moon is associated with femininity, fertility etc., while the sun's power is associated with masculine energy. I am not religious myself per say, but I've always loved that symbolism in paganism 😊

I watched this in my backyard in Toronto. Only 90% totality. Unfortunately, I got to see the moon get about 3/4 of the way across the sun, and then a massive cloud blocked the whole thing. So I ended up watching it on the news later 😒
