The little sticks are almost definitely antler style hairsticks. I wear my hair put up in a bun with hairsticks for work all the time because it's way easier than pins or hair elastics, and I occasionally get to yank one out and threaten someone with a tiny wooden sword.

i would argue there is a market for those "shitty" corsets as well because they're softer and easier to wear, but they do tend to end up at the thrift a lot... probably cause they're cheap and people buy them on impulse

never heard of anyplace called pizzaslime But I can guarantee slimey nasty pizza existed. if you wanna go somewhere for pizza where it is so greesy the crust is soggy dough, the toppings melt off it, due to the grease that could fill a tank cause a whole box of nakins can't clean it up, poor service and hot wings that aren't made from scratch and four times back in the oven or whatever they heat it with it's still frozen. Also prepare t pay a very expensive bill, I reccomend the pizza place I went to in Seattle * drum roll* Good news* it was so bad it didn't last 2 months and the building is now a weed shop , next door to a good will on Capital Hill 🤣 plus it was the last time I treated someone because I later learned they knew the food sucked but they were just there to flirt with the chick that worked there, my wallet was their sacrifice for a date that failed (karma on them I guess lol)
