I was a scene kid back in the 2000's and my uncle once asked me "What's the difference between a goth, a scene kid, and an emo?" I told him there were a number of factors but the main difference lies in the things they hate. "Emos hate themselves. Goths hate everyone else. And scene kids hate being confused for the first two". Thinking back on that made me chuckle so I figured I would share it.

Whimsy Goth is pretty much witch aesthetic. Huge look in the 90s especially from the media from things like Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Practical Magic, the Craft and Charmed. Nothing new, just a new name.

Hey there! I've been following you for four years now and just realized how much your content has changed throughout the years. I don't know if other subscribers agree with my opinion but I would enjoy other content you did in past videos much more than these reaction videos that most of the time is just cringe. I watch your content solely because you're in it and to hear your thoughts about certain topics. As someone who was 14 or 15 when grunge was at its worst lol, I wasn’t really into it of course but I certainly don’t remember anybody putting bright ass glittery highlighter all over their face. It’s like a goth wearing bronzer or some shit. 😂

I'm a goth who wears bronzer 😭 not always just sometimes, but remember, it isn't the makeup that makes the goth, grunge, emo whatever person. It's about the music. And yes style wise to an extent as well, but my style is veryyy goth, giant boots, even bigger spiked chokers, crazy contacts, PVC ad the darkest velvet you've ever seen, you name it. I just so happen to prefer a natural makeup look and blinding highlighter 😭 and there's plenty of other goths like me as well! Also tbf, you also gotta take into consideration the "type" of goth look ones going for. I usually have a more romantic look, so I'm not gonna paint my face white and and my neck black and do my crazy goth looks w that, imma save it for the clothes that actually match it lmao

So…I have had bangs for years lol. I love them, but you’re right. Most people don’t think about it before they cut them and then they regret them. And they’re high maintenance if your hair isn’t trained to sit in the shape you may want them to sit in. Hairspray and combs were my best friends for the first 6 months or so when I first cut my bangs lol.

I am old, let me share some of my old age wisdom. back in the early 2000s I used to wear eyeliner like the dude from good Charlotte, fishnets, black band shirts I had long black hair and lip piercings. I listened to ALL punk music bands like Pennywise, the exploited, nerve agents, rancid, death by stereo, early AFI, there was not an ounce of Bauhaus or wtv the f else in there. do you know what i got called at school by the normies who hated me for it? Goth. well I mean also "freak" but they were often interchanged. one charming lad even nicknamed me "fat goth legs", not fat punk legs. you know why? because people saw all that weird shit and long black hair and immediately thought goth. you dressed like the dude from Korn? you were not "nu metal" you were goth. you dressed like you came out of the Marilyn Manson tainted love video you were definitely goth. you wore too much black one day, you were turning goth. i love these videos, and it's true little tik Tok children do just wear costumes and have no idea about anything or the two decades where everything was goth and goths watched invader Zim and listened to rammstein and ain't nobody gave a shit about goth music except actual original very very old goths or people who actually just liked those bands growing up. goth was just what scared normies called you to make fun of you, what a beautiful time 😃
