I commend you Jake for making this video. Recently started logging with Noom. I also quit my gym membership and started walking in the cemetary everyday and i actually like doing it now. It was hard at first but it's getting a little easier. Also taking better care of myself overall. I found that the gym I used to go to completely changed to a place with gym rats and gym bunnies and just not a good vibe at all. I find the cemetary to be a truly judgement free zone.

as someone currently going through an eating disorder I really love how this video is laid out because its only about the health benefits while also making very good and logical points against eating disorders and food consumption as a whole so thank you for this beautiful art

I want to add one thing to this. Everything good comes with practice. Don't beat yourself up if you couldn't sustain a healthy diet or an exercise routine for an entire week. If you did it for 4 days that's great. Next time you'll do 6 days, a week, a month and so on. Same with quitting smoking, alcohol, food... Nobody can go cold turkey just like that. I'm saying this from my own experience. Your brain needs time to adjust, slowly for some people. But in the end you'll manage to quit bad habits. Just practice, practice, practice. One day you'll succeed! ;)

There are so many ways I trick myself to stay within a healthy weight. It's good to at least understand one's body needs and understand nutrition at a basic level. Also: At 24:15 EXACTLY. 👏💯

how about instead of remaking movies that were awesome as an obvious cash grab, instead they remake movies that could have been and should have been better but didnt have the right technology/ actors/ director or budget .

do you work out 7 days a week or do you have a rest day
@JakeMunro3 күн бұрын
4-6 times a week. General rule of thumb for me is I never take more than 2 days off at a time and I never do less than 3 days in a row.

I followed the keto diet for almost a year a few years ago and went from 240 lbs. to 212 lbs. That was without working out at a gym; I just carried grocery bags and walked (I deliver groceries as my job). That's all I did. I changed my diet and worked my job and lost almost 40 lbs.

I've noticed you talked a lot about working on your biceps your chest your legs but you really don't mention working on your midsection your abdominal region. Do you actually do anything for your abdominal region

See it's funny that you say it's easy to drive going to pick your keys up and go. But when you don't actually have a car or a driver's license and makes it harder to get to the gym. All the gyms are even close to me aren't close to me they're not in walking distance. And I would have to walk. I walk at night time I walk on the treadmill I do have a treadmill in my apartment and my personal apartment. And I have gone from personally from 286 lb down to 260. A person trying to get off myself I've gotten down to 250 during covid. Cuz I ended up getting covid. I've gotten under $250 which is great but then my weight came back because my medication

For protein intake, consider trying lentils and beans as well. Especially lentils are great as a protein and really healthy. Leading Diet Experts in Europe (e.g.: Dr. Mathias Riedl) recommend to get 90% of protein from plants instead of animals to get the most health benefits. I am not saying that one has to stick to that, we are all subject to our desires after all. But adding a decent amount of healthy unprocessed plant protein to your diet can be very tasty and have all sorts of health benefits.

I could've gotten offended, cause you hit all the weak spots that are in me. But I didn't, cause I know I lack control. I know all these things and all i could is to nod and agree with you. I will make a change, even though I've been lacking holding myself accountable. Great video, happy you are soon there where you'd want to be bodywise. ♥

Much of this I used to know, when I dropped the 52 lbs and gained muscle back in 2019, it took me about 10 months. Staying disciplined and consistent is difficult for me especially since I've hit early menopause. But that aside I've been reviewing my diet and photos from when I was at my fittest, and I'm determined to get back on track. Thank you for this video, it's what I needed to hear.

Well i love the aesthetic today. I really think u do fit black hair well. And i think u look way beter than before. Your in amazing shape and size. Good for you, you can stick up with discipline. I cant anymore lol. Before was great for like 10 years... but Since past few years... With my super low blood pressure and no thyorid, i just cant diet like this anymore. I get so tired i cant even be normaly active for 8 hours per day. Let alone work out as i should. I do need a bit more food than ever before, i do eat a bit more calories, i do need it, cuz even my brain cant function if im only on like 1400. I still stick to a lot of easy healthy food... but. Well. And theres another thing. For more than 12 years i was keeping my shape, plus for 2 years i had bad stomach problems. Now. At this stage in my life i just love to enjoy me some sweets and pastry. Like everyday a bite or two of chocolate... its just nice xD im still thinking of forcing myself and my body to get into good shape again... but as i had experiance before when i was way healthier i see now how much harder it can get when you are not in the best healt. And i cant really do much about it to change it. But you look great. I love it. Your face has a better shape now too.
