I have to be honest, I really don't get why so many people have been gushing over this. This guys perfomance is not even impressive! at all! I'm looking at this strictly in terms of the performance. Yeah, it was a real twist for me. As he began to cry, then it turned to quiet laughter, I can remember my stomach sinking as I realized, "Oh god... it's HIM..." and then his proper laughs began and I knew Gotham was in trouble... Cameron Monaghan really did a good job in this series, even at the lowest points.

This guy was amazing as the Joker. The voice, the facial expressions. Too bad that he was cast in a show with sub-par writing. The whole twins' storyline really ruined this character. It was needlessly convoluted and it shows that they were writing the story as they went along instead of having something planned from the start. This guy as a well written Joker could have been a legend to stand with the likes of Nicholson and Ledger. A true shame.
