It's an alternate universe. You know how that works--you should, anyway. It's never exactly the same. Maybe Dick Grayson was born, but never met Batman. Maybe his parents weren't killed in this universe. The real reason is, they'd pay little or nothing for the right to mention the circus. Dick Grayson would cut into the very limited budget. And everybody knows his story. So they have a lot less freedom to tell us a story we haven't seen before. That's what's wrong with most superhero crap we see. This isn't a superhero story, it's a detective story, and Dick was a detective sometimes, but somehow it never took. They got so repetitive about it, they made Jason Todd become Robin almost exactly the same way. Like somehow there was an inexhaustible supply of orphaned boys whose parents were murdered circus acrobats. Now that's a thumbs down. Turner Hayes isn't a repeat. Thumbs down to your thumbs down. If you just want the same thing over and over, why not just read the comics? And why would you want to see that crappy Robin outfit again?
