From what we’ve seen from this version of Batman, it’s pretty easy to say he would’ve clapped all of these guys if he wasn’t defeated by the ultimate villain of Suicide Squad. Bad writing.

But SS... the gameplay becomes repetitive, you kill the heroes with no emotional impact, the story its full of "wtf" or "how the heck?", the dialogues between the SS members are sometimes funny at it has memorable moments, but has more flaws than accerts.

Remember... in this movie Batman stabs himself for NO REASON, despite having the sword in a perfect postion to break it with his glove claws, that are .. specifically designed to break stab weapons. Remember ... in this movie batman blows up the cave for NO discernable reason as it accomplishes .. nothing. Remember in this movie... batman falls for his own exploding batarang trick. Remember.. in this movie... Ra's is knocked out, imeddiatly awakes... but somehow a limping batman managed to limp awya the ENTIRE batcave... Remember.. in this movie... Ra's whispers to himself that he's done with batman.. impling a sneak attack... but then charges at him screaming. This intro is garbage. It's a self contradicting mess of a fight, with no direction or intent. Batman is an idiot. Ra's is an idiot. The fight makes no sense combat wise wise. It's a mess.

@@TheMajinTrunks it missed his heart that sword isn't gonna break, it was cutting through metal a few moments before. ssktjl being bad doesnt mean gotham knights wasn't, but the hate train still persists. he didnt whisper for stealth, it was an angry whisper, which many people actually do rather than shouting. ras wasn't teleported, he's very fast. bruce backed away after the temple kick because he needed to contact the rest of the bat family. he KNEW he couldn't defeat ra's. batman blows up the cave to take out ra's. it accomplishes nothing because BOTH ras and bruce are saved by lazarus. ra's woke up and the lazarus thingy had to charge up so it gave bruce time to limp across the cave. anyway he was likely not limping the whole time. if you keep looking for flaws in fiction, youre GONNA find it. the alternative interpretation that supports your suspension of disbelief is the one youre meant to follow, otherwise you wont enjoy anything fictional

The Flash loses his finger before he's taken, and upon showing back up as evil, he has all 10 fingers again. Superman meanwhile survives being stabbed in the heart with green kryptonite, and in many of the comic book stories, green kryptonite is only really effective if he resides from the same universe the kryptonite is obtained from, otherwise it barely has an effect on him. This is why it took gold kryptonite synthesized by Lex from Earth-2 to kill him. Meanwhile, Green Lantern's manifested helicopters still show up after you kill him, seemingly implying the one you did kill was someone else, or that he's still alive. The only Justice League member that truly died was Wonder Woman.. the rest are being stashed away by the 13 Brainiacs somewhere, including Batman. Plus some audio snippets from the next season of the game leaked, implying the Flash thing was true and that he's alive.

But he turns, unbroken, unphased to the damage you've done to him. This death is good because he knows he's going to die. at first he tried to get into batwing but Ra' make the plane slowly falling and he knows that at this angle plane isn't going to go anywhere and decied to just "fuck it I'm going to take him down too" moment and look at his family's hero costume and trusting them to protect gotham and then blow the entire cave

Of all of Batman's villains, I'm willing to believe Ra's Al Ghoul is one who could catch him off-guard and best him in a fight. That said, the fight wasn't humiliating for Batman; he fought valiantly, died with dignity, and successfully prevented Ra's from rampaging any further. Batman's death doesn't come without consequence and resonance either. I still wouldn't call Gotham Knights a good game but I'd play it every day of the week over Kill The Justice League.

It wasn't so much the way he went out, but because it's how ARKHAM Batman went out. The death would have been fine in literally any other continuity outside of the Arkhamverse, but this happening to such a long standing franchise, the closest to being the Batman, snuffed out by Harley, whom was already made out to be an incapable sidekick/ joke within the series. Honestly, the main reason why Batman's death didn't work in Suicide Squad was the fact that... we didn't care and game didn't make us care. From what I was able to watch on YT (because I'm not gonna buy that game for 70$), Bats in Suicide Squad is nothing more but a caricature of his old self that kills for no real reason other than being brainwashed or possibly being an evil clone. There wasn't a single moment where he would snap out, realise what he did only to get back to the killing. Outside of the notion that you are expected to off a character we've been playing as through the entire Arkham series, there isn't a single moment that would make us care about him. The only feeling I had after watching that was... disgust in how dirty they made not only Bats but the entire Justice League. Funny at times, annoying at most but not a single ounce of sympathy and fights themselves were an insult to each and every member of Justice League, because there's nothing more powerful than a mag dump of bullets from 4 thugs against near invincible demigods who can solo wipe out entire armies without a scratch.

Its kinda sad how badly WB & Rocksteady fumbled their DC game releases. Think about it. WB had just finished the Arkham Trilogy and clearly didnt know what to do next. They had 5 rumored Games they were considering working on 1. A superman game (Rocksteady idea) 2. A Damian Wayne Arkham sequel (Rocksteady Idea) 3. A Batman Beyond Arkham sequel (Rocksteady Idea) 4. Suicide Squad game (WB Montreal idea) 5. A Battle for the cowl Arkham Sequel. (Rocksteady idea) They couldnt decide what to do until finally WB said Rocksteady we want you to make the Suicide Squad game and WB Montreal you make a game about the Batfamily oh and BOTH games HAVE to be Live Service games. Now i have theories on how they decided which game ended up being in the Arkhamverse but to cut the long story short it definitely seemed like whoever made final Story and game decisions for Gotham Knights had some Good ideas for example Both Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad were delayed a year for Last second changes. Suicide Squad seemingly barely changed. Gotham Knights however on a shorter time table removed almost ALL Live Service elements to make it closer to the single player Arkham games.

Hey guys I have therory pretty crazy but i think it makes sense. Remember in Arkham knight we were given the option for saving ra's al ghul and letting him die the two games are based on the choices made by us gotham knights is for the choice of helping Ras' and suicide Squad is for the choice for letting him die that's why there is no Ras in the suicide Squad game.

I came here because everybody was arguing about SS, and I read that the "fans" also criticised this moment of Batman and Ras. But damn, the coreography, the script and the emotional charge here its so well done, I dont understand why people hated this scene so bad. Batman isnt inmortal, he is a human, and this scene shows this very well.
