If this movie was a hamburger, I would eat it...and then ramble about it. Also I filmed another heavily requested video that should be out sometime soon. As always, thanks so much for watching. If this is how they’re naming the sequels there’s gotta be a third one coming lol

Thanks for the overall review of the franchise. I'm also a Tim Burton fan. The movies were good they could have did a little bit more but I guess that's every movie. Unfortunately I haven't watched the animated series.

If you look real close in the intro, you’ll see Adam and Barbra as miniature figures in the river. The music even does something when it shows them as if it’s highlighting a cameo. I caught it watching it my third time. It’s really neat!

I have the box of Haunted Apple Fanta sodas. I was actually happy with them, they’re pretty good! I liked the Beetlejuice design for Halloween decor and took a can opener and cut the lids off, and put some candles inside. There are apparently other flavors with Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega on them.

Hi! I was just thinking about your channel a few hours ago! I was telling myself that it's been a while since we've gotten a new video from you, and, surprise... ! How nice to see that you're well and happy with the film. 😃😃😃 As much as I'm glad that you and many people like it, I did not, unfortunately. I walked out of the cinema after only forty-five minutes. I didn't like any of the characters nor the plot. I was so bored that I decided to save my time. It didn't feel like something typical of Tim Burton to me. Instead, it reminded me of the type of rubbish that Rob Zombie comes up with. I was turned off, so I really had to leave. Although, I will admit that I liked the cinematography. The visuals were quite nice. Thanks for telling us about Jeffrey. I did some research whilst listening to your video, and I was surprised by what I read. Thank goodness that they decided to leave him out of the project. Hopefully, we'll see you in a sooner video than a later one! Cheers! 🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇 P. S. I'm going to see The Sisters of Mercy, The March Violets, and TR/ST this autumn. I hope that you'll get to go to some goth shows, too. 🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇

Great video. Personally I wish they did more with Astrid, and less villains. Felt too busy

I was a huge fan until Alice in Wonderland....To be honest, whenever Burton makes a remake, it's just feels like a 50% effort. Remember the cartoon at Cartoon Network, so got my motivation to watch ALL THE EPISODES (I wasn't allowed to see it, I was like 3 or 4 sooo it's time!)

Alice in Wonderland was my first Burton movie and I have seen it since being a little kid and I honestly think it's good and holds up. It makes sense that Burton would get around to doing dark epic fantasy at some point, even if it's an "adaptation" of a prior work. Christopher Lee as the Jabberwocky was also badass. The sequel to it wasn't very good though of course, though Burton didn't direct that.

@@sylph8005 Beside the beautiful design it didn't had a catch for me, but I'm glad you like those movies! My first Burton movies were Edward Scissorhands, and Sleepy Hollow, and I know he's able to direct dark comedies, but the last ones felt a little hollow to me next to his early work. Pretty sure it's not really him, it's the studio he works with.
@sylph8005Ай бұрын
@@festivalkyrie With Disney that was the case (though I think Alice in Wonderland and Frankenweenie absolutely stand up). Whatever flaws that are in Wednesday and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice are likely the fault of him and his writing duo.

It was absolutely terrible in every way. Casting sucked, Ortega ruined it. It wasn't like the first one. It came off too serious and no gothic humor at all. The plot was horrible and they only made the same scenery. Even the vibe was stale and lame. But they kept bugging him to make another one. Tim Burton said Beetlejuice was never meant to be a sequel. They should have just made the sequel a long time ago. I would prefer Hawaiian but not produced by Kevin spacey. I could imagine the time Burton skeleton glowing dangling and dancing. And the voodoo character shrunken heads again. With the samba music in the background

I’m a Tim Burton fan but I never liked Beetlejuice. I like weird movies but it seemed like they were trying too hard.
@ademcanvaner2567Ай бұрын
I totally understand what you mean. I like the original, but something does seem missing. Along with Edward Scissorhands, they don't (in my subjective opinion) compare to The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Frankenweenie, Sleepy Hollow, Alice in Wonderland, etc. They seem to rely on visuals and aesthetics more than on the plot and the storytelling.

I hate how they dangle it in front of the audience for adult Lydia and Beetlejuice to get together, but then with the wedding scene and ending say we’re problematic for it. Make up your minds
