Gothic 2 Night of the Raven secrets - Part 2

We've finally got the Gothic 2 secrets video done. In total (with the previous video) I've covered about 69 secrets. Yes I have the mind of a child.
These are pretty much all of the big and small secrets in the game. Hope you discover something new while watching this video.
If you think I missed anything feel free to let me know in the comments. I know I forgot to mention a small cave in the water where you first meet Jergan the scout, aka the first living NPC you find in the valley of mines. There's an underwater cave near him, jump in the river to see it. Just some mushrooms inside it, no biggie.

Gothic 2 Night of the Raven is an RPG made by Pyranha Bytes in 2003 in basically one year and a half after Gothic 1 which in gaming terms is a legendary timeline! Currently Pyranha Bytes is a subsidiary of THQ Nordic, who are working on a modern release of this classic game.
Gothic 2 NOTR is an upgraded hardcore version of Gothic 1 in all regards, we have new skills, new quests, new enemies, new places and dragons!

12:20 I got here without cheats. I also have it recorded in my gameplay, I just don't remember which part it was (when I went to the ice dragon, classically). It's achievable from the right (from this position) through the rocks. Very nice videos btw 👍

@@Adrians_Stories Yes, thanks for clip. I would even say it's possible to get here 04:19 without Marvin, but I couldn't because I didn't actually know about it 😀 But I believe that wherever such loot is found, it should be available naturally. However, realistically I'm excited about this game again, that even after 20+ years there's something there that I've never found after literally dozens of playthroughs. What a masterpiece it was, man. To this day, no one has ever made a better RPG than Gothic trilogy.

@@OldNerdPlayingOldPCGames I used free cam mode to look around that area and other than cheats I didn't find a way around. Maybe if you force your way up there by creating an artificial ladder using "weeds" is the solution. I know in Gothic Chronicles of Myrtana you can climb certain items you drop, like weeds. Might be the solution or I am over complicating the situation. If you figure out a way up there, let me know! Yeah Gothic has a bunch of hidden gems, it really was a product of love and passion.

@@Adrians_Stories Unfortunately I lost my save states, because of SSD crash situation 😀 So I would have to replay it to get in Jharkendar again. But ladder/stairs from loot ? 😮 Well, it really never occurred to me, does it work in the classic version?

My headcanon is that Valentino forcibly "inherited" this house and its riches and that skeleton might have been a relative of his which he trapped in that secret room. Environmental storytelling basically.

Actually Vatras will always take your old stone tablets, even after the circle of the sun, as long as you have at least one ability stone tablet in your inventory,

Weird, it didn't happen in my recently playthrough. After Vatras went to the circle, the dialogue option to give him tablets went poof. But then again I didn't have any ability tablets so probably that's why. Good to know, thank you!
