Gothic Glam Junk Journal Flip Through

A flip through of my Gothic Glam Junk Journal. Created from a thrift store ball gown, this gorgeous journal has tons of pages for writing, glamorous goth ephemera, with the red and black theme carried throughout. Pockets, tuck spots and tags along with vintage jewelry make this journal truly one of a kind!

How absolutely gorgeous. I see this was originally posted three years ago so I am sure you probably don't have any of that glorious gown left. I will have to keep my eyes open at the thrift shops here. I never even thought of looking for something like this. The journal is definitely a work of art. I love the little pumpkin with all the bits and bobs and the rhinestone trim ... you do find some great stuff. 🥰 Thank you for sharing her.

Love Gothic journals trying to start one but not much to use

When I run into that I try to find an inspiration piece to start with - whether it be a piece of fabric, an image, a piece of jewelry or cardstock. That usually gets me going. For this journal it was a red and black ball gown from a thrift store. There are also tons of free domain images to search.

Beautiful journal!!!! I was also thinking of getting velvet to cover a journal then realized i can pick up a shirt at thrift store. Its more affordable. Did you manage to use all the material?
