Heather, your imagination and creativity, just continues to blow me away, I love watching your videos..... the streets are dark and quiet. lit only by the flickering of the street lamps scattered along the way, the mist is rising, softening the hard edges and deadening the sounds of the rumbling wheels, and the steady clip-clop of the horses hooves as they pull the ornate hearse, down the empty thoroughfare. The driver perched on top, has his top hat pulled low over his face as he slouches over the reins. The band and the crowds have long dispersed into the misty darkness. Through the curtains you can barely make out the outlines of the coffin, but, wait, is that a shadow? or is that really specks of earth, still clinging to the edges.............. :)

Hey Tracy I gotta a question for you....I am in the process of ordering from that AliExpress site that you have linked to this tutorial for the silicone molds you used and like a million other things....Oops! LOL Anyways.... it really seems too good to be true as far as their prices and their free shipping! What was your experience with them as far as getting what you ordered and how long did it take to receive your shipment? I think it says something like it is free shipping but it could take up to 21-60 days to get to me. That is quite a long wait...I am not sure if I am that patient to be honest. LOL Thank You!!!
@Thicketworks6 жыл бұрын
I completely understand your hesitation, my friend. I've ordered dozens of items from AliExpress, always received the item, and was grateful for the low prices. Most of my shipments arrived far earlier than they have estimated, but not always. For me, it's worth the wait! xox

How cool. Would it not be fun to put candy in these coffins for party favors for a Halloween party? Of course you would need LOTS of them..in real time how long did it take to put one of these together? Might need to get started now huh? TFS

Hi Kimberly! I think they would make fabulous favors at a Halloween Feast - each one acting as a Place Card holder for the guest, with one precious treat inside... I'd budget 2 days for these (due to drying time for the air dry clay). Working in batches tends to make it more worthwhile. xox

Hello again Heather, I know you're busy so I'm super sorry to need to ask another question. I have the darice 6-inch coffins, and I printed out your beautiful template but I'm finding that it's too short. I measured the template and it measures at 5 and 1/2 inches. I've tried printing it in portrait and I've tried printing it in landscape, is there something else that I can do? if not did you trace the very outer edge of your coffin, and then the inner rim for the second template? If that makes any sense. Thank you so much for your time and again I'm really sorry.
@Thicketworks5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jato! I suspect that your printer is resizing the template. When it prints at full size, it results in a 6" long coffin shape. See if there is a setting on your printer that you can change to print at 100% - if not, then open the file using Adobe Reader, and adjust the print size within that program to 100%. This should take care of the issue. And yes, I traced the outer edge and the inner edge to create the second template. Hope this helps!

Wow - you are an amazing artist (I just recently discovered your KZbin videos). Not only are you amazing but I appreciate that you suggest frugal ways of doing things. A couple of your links (this one has ..... g.magik ..... in the URL) take you to a site called Ali Express which appears to be a collective of numerous Chinese wholesalers (? I assume) who offer wonderful prices. I just want to make sure they are a secure site for entering credit card information. You have never had any problems???? Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us! You are an inspiration!

Hi TNis home! Thanks so much for your positivity, my friend! Like you, i felt wary of the whole AliExpress Experience when I first encountered them...but I am here to tell you, after 6 months of ordering WAY too much cool stuff, I am hooked for life. I've never had a problem with security issues - they are really quite stringent about such things (I even had to verify my identity at one point, before they would sell to me!)....the only issue is the shipping time. It can take some getting used to. BUT, I don't care - most vendors offer free shipping - which is amazing, and it's worth it to me to wait. xoxo
@tnishome32006 жыл бұрын
Great, thank you. Yes, I can see many future buying sprees through this company. Like you, I can cope with shipping time (even some of vendors on Amazon are shipping from China, taking from 2 to 6 weeks). Can't wait to see more of your videos.
