In my town there used to be a "free for the taking" second hand store where everyone could leave or get things, no money involved. It was 98 % trash, but I did find a few antique picture frames, one antique turned three legged table, and... an antique human hair clock chain. It was just such an unexpected find in a store like that. Whoever turned that in couldn't have known what it was. It remains one of my very best free finds ever. You guys did great!! :-)

Well that was fun :) I enjoyed watching all of you making the mourning hair art. Yes, I think it would be interesting to see you do more once you have some new ideas for it. I've actually never seen anyone do this and was not aware that you could actually take classes, etc to learn it. If you pursue it, you could actually frame some pieces for your home, gifts, sales, etc....... See you soon Sweetie

When I was a kid I found a random piece of hair art at a park, a flower or butterfly, looked modern. I think I left it there. Didn't get haunted, so maybe a good idea.

Ahh I love anything and everything Victorian so thank you for sharing this video. All your mourning pieces came out beautiful. I really liked Jessica’s flower. It was super cute that you and Brody dressed alike 🖤. Thank you for making this pandemic bearable with your videos 🖤.

I think it can be any length, depending on what you want to do with it, but the longer it is, the easier it is to work with

Wow, these are beautiful. I don't have a favourite - I don't do favourites really, I think they're all wonderfully creative. Makes me wonder - back in the day, was everyone skilled at doing this, or would there be, like, a hair jeweller and that would be a trade people would go in to? I would imagine both - individuals might do simpler pieces, but for more ornate/complex things you would send it to someone maybe? Don't know, I'd be interested in people's thoughts on this. :o)

Haha! Too bad I didn't keep my hair from when I chopped it all off. You could have played with it for weeks making this stuff. It was down to my butt and I shaved it all off short. Not creepy or weird at all to get a random bag of hair in the mail right? LMAO Maybe next time!
