How are they your heros? They are disgusting. Why don't they hang from some bars with their own hands? Even if they are good people it encourages an industry that we now recognize as cruel. The lions and tigers in circuses do not want to perform. And cats would prefer to be in their own home and territory than taken to strange places to do tricks for humans. Let them make their money from their own tricks. Let the cats live as cats. Not entertainment!
@wasntme9578 Жыл бұрын
@@starspangledwinner You can't compare this to training large cats. Training domesticated cats is done with positive reinforcement. You are comparing apples and man eating predators whose instinct is to rip you to shreds. If you believe these ladies went into this training fluffy little kitty cats with cattle prods and whips I think you might want to re-evaluate your assessment. If you have had any experience withe domestic cats you would know they don't do anything they don't want to. If you have ever tried to get a cat to stop bad behavior you will understand you can't force them not to do anything. You have to use treats and from treats to a clicker. Otherwise it's like pushing rope.

Cats are like English humor. It takes a different level of understanding to appreciate the intrigue. If you ignore cats, as most people do, they'll in turn ignore you. But even if you spend a few minutes a day playing/training them, there's nothing they wont do for you. However, to perform on demand for outsiders--not so much. Bravo girls.

@@dead_rose.s I'm sorry to tell you, but no one is safe from an abuser, not even a cat. I've hear stories and seen people punch, slap, kick cats, even holding them by the tail and slamming them onto walls. I've even seen a video of an asian person slapping their cat(hard, you could hear it clearly) with a slipper on it's stomach, head, and general body, for 15 MINUTES! And the cat just stood on the couch screamed, hissed and just took it, 'cause it couldn't defend itself. I don't know about you, but I've heard about dogs killing their abuse owners, while I didn't hear about a cat doing that. They are just too small.

My 2 year old Domestic Medium Hair does feline agility. We were hoping to enter her in agility competition and had her all registered for her first show when she was a kitten, but then COVID came along and almost all shows were cancelled indefinitely. We didn't have time to work on the "atmosphere" and get her accustomed to doing the tasks in a busy environment, so we never went any further other than to continue agility play at home. No worries... it's great exercise for her and a wonderful bonding experience for both of us. She LOVES it! Our 8 month old wants to do it too, but she has a hind limb deformity so she can't do as many of the same challenges. Nonetheless, she has amazing front-body strength and she does some exercises that the older one never learned. If our older one is "track and field", then the little one is a gymnast who would excel on the uneven bars and the vaults that depend on good arm strength! She's not "crippled". She just has wonky back legs. and it doesn't slow her down at all!

you can do that if you teach it to not play with claws, too. We had an indoor/outdoor rescue who didn't know this, but by the time she died she at least had the idea to not viciously attack with them when 'playing.' I can understand it if the cat is so aggressive it can't be so much as touched without attacking something and doesn't change, but don't you think if the owners have expensive furniture they could hire a trainer or get a high quality scratching post or "cat tree" for them? :/
