Yeah, that's something I miss about the first game. In the first game, if you touched a black hole (or a lot of other nasty things) before you were big enough to eat it, you just straight up died. Though, it sure did make the ocean level annoying.

theoretically grey goo could eat anything. no matter it's size. it would just attach itself to a host and slowly turn it into grey goo breaking it apart on a subatomic level. it could eat your arm, eat parts of your car, bust a hole in a wall, and eat the earth bit by bit. once something g touches grey goo, it can be turned into grey goo. however this is just a game and it would take away the point of getting bigger if you could simply eat anything.

not quite quickly. a black hole is infinity in mass and density all squished into a small point, something ONLY the death of a star can do. adding enough mass to it will just make it bigger but not turn it into a black hole as it will always lack the momentum to squish it down to a single point.

Redstoner64 the goo can't collapse by itself. It can't turn into a black hole. It's not a star. However it's gravity can get big enough to not let light escape BUT it won't be a black hole, it won't be squished down to that single point. In order to compact it so much you NEED a star collapse.
