I have a Gotrax EB3E8 mountain bike type and it works great. I have 7500 kms on it and I've only had to change the motor wheel bearings. With Gotrax you're not going to get anything fancy but the thing will just work no matter what. I've driven the bike in torrential downpours and it just doesn't care. I've driven it in -5 degress Celcius. No problem. Gone up some pretty steep hills throttle only. Sure why not. The good thing is 99% of just normal bike accesories will work with it just fine. Crappy headlight? 50 bucks for a 3000 lumens light. No rear suspension? $40 for a suspension seat post. Shitty seat? $25 for a gel seat. I even added blue tooth turn signals. Any sort of bicycle accessory will work fine. Also if you get into the settings you can set it to a max of 25 mph so you're getting decent speed as well. Gotrax uses motors that are more geared for torque than speed if speed is more your thing but for hill climbing they are perfect. Especially if you have those 20 inch tires which gives the motor a mechanical advantage. If you spray some hairspray in the inside of the grips and slide them back on, when it dries it will act like glue. Old motorcycle trick. When you want to change them out you can either cut them or shoot some water in the grips to loosen them. You might want to take off the plastic shipping wheel protector on the right side of the front tire...

Hi man nice video and very well explained, I have a gotrax ebike too and I liked, but I have a question. Do u have videos how to change between modes on those bikes?, like how to use from normal bike, pedal assisted and electric only?.. Thanks, I'll be expecting for response.

I would google it if I was you, and you don’t have the owners manual. It’ll be online.

Since the battery is removable, can you buy a spare to take along?
@timjreese6 ай бұрын
I have the f2v2 and yes you can take the battery out, and carry a spare, some of them are compatible with other models, I'm buying the r2 for my wife as it's on sale on Amazon for $719 plus tax, and I called Gotrax today and they said the R2 and my F2 take the same battery. What I've also noticed is that they sell most of the replacement parts for very reasonable prices and some of the parts including the frame I believe now carry a 2 year warranty...

I'm having trouble putting the headlight on and the front rear cover. Can you do a video for that. And can you make sure you have the camera close to what your doing. I'm so frustrated I can't find any instructions or videos on how to assemble the bike. I'm older I'm 60. So the instructions are too simplistic and it assumes us older people know what know how to assemble it and make it look so easy. Please help me

What's good about those bikes, is they can be upgraded, and modified easily.

You're impressed by the scooter lasting a month?
@BoneTactical Жыл бұрын
Riding it on hardcore mountain trails twice a day 5 days a week for a month, yes. It’s a scooter that was designed for on road use and most comparable scooters wouldn’t have survived.

I think everyone should know that States are mandating how fast your ebikes can go and the motor wattage in order to be classified as an ebike and to qualify for rebates from the State. Companies probably will be a bit limited in what they can put into it at a profitable price.

I love the Electric Bicycles, and mini-jet boats, and all wheel drive Electric dune buggies. I love the torque power with these electric motors!!! I am literally fascinated with these electric vehicles, and gadgets :) These Batteries are good and all, but I much prefer Hydrogen Fuel Cells to power my Electric Motors. :) Having a small battery back up is cool though. Toyota Marai is Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric car :) I love the Hydrogen, because as long as you can harvest it, you never run out of Hydrogen, and always, the end result is pure water :) I get a kick out of all the Mis/Dis-information about Hydrogen, on most of the scientific message boards about Hydrogen :) Bloom Technologies has their Hydrogen Fuel Cell Generator's, called The Bloom Box...Google Headquarters is powered by these Bloom Box's :) Of course, The Fossil Fuel/Energy Barons consider 'Knowledge of Hydrogen' to be the 2nd Greatest Threat to THEIR Entire Industry, and since THEY pretty much run shit, perhaps I should just keep my big mouth shut :) THEY would probably consider me Running my mouth about Hydrogen Power as Wrong-Think, and Wrong-Speak. The Country of Norway has been using Hydrogen for energy since the early 1920's :) They even have The Hydrogen Highway over there :) God Bless America :)
