When King Ungrim Ironfist speaks of the legendary 'Road of Skulls' and of the hated foe's attempts to open a portal into the Realm of Chaos, Gotrek senses that a great doom awaits him - though it may not be the one he would choose for himself. As the king's own son leads his army of Slayers to fulfil an ancient prophecy, it seems that Garmr's hour of victory may be at hand..."

So we come to this, at last. I've known that this is one of the most requested and anticipated GDN Warhammer Narrations and, after all, it's yet MORE Gotrek and Felix. I hadn't remembered despite audience inquiries that this story is full-feature length. “Only one thing he could think of smelled that way” - blood! Blood for the Blood God! Cheers for a return of the warmaking representatives of the “keg-shaped” dawi race “ambling” to meet Chaos, yet despair at so many being slaughtered for their beards and appeasement of Khorne. No wonder Canto is “the Unsworn”...such a coward as he wouldn't be accepted by never-sneaking Khorne; only his skull would, of course. Ekaterina is another stand-out as another rarer female Chaos Champion, much less one of Khorne, but obviously for that wide, Warped mouth. She ate a dwarf Slayer's face. She also claims to have already personally killed ten thousand men? She has to be fast, then. I can also tell that there's something different, not previously Narrated, about...Rulf, as I'll spell his name for now. You've slaughtered the read-through to this fantastic novel's introduction, Narrator, in your signature form, and I call it good. As would Khorne and maybe even Grimnir. An exhilirating beginning, as much as I'd rather the dawi not be massacred. That's the point of this tale, and a long road it is. My thanks go to you as offering, GDN, for reliably coming back to a novel Narration, to the world of Warhammer, and as told through the lives of the poet and the slayer. I'm really looking forward to enjoying this. 'Til the next weekend's segments to follow, take care, be well and may Grimnir's axe carve through all killers for Khorne.

This was definitely a strange book to narrate. It takes place way before most of their consecrated adventures but at the same time feels very personal to Gotrek's saga. It also features a lot more characters than the average G&F book with a lot of focus on them.

Oh boy for blood and souls it's a Gotrek and Felix novel 😄 GDN think you and to quote we don't parlay yes tell that canto this for the head takers and blood drinkers of true Khorne believers, set in the back with your parlay love the characters of Garmr. Canto Katarina they are some interesting northmen with some good personality, and the dwarves of Karak Kadrin. Represent there hold's best Borri's Kimril's Durgrim and noooo not Ogun. he was interesting the silent dwarf of death of very few words went like a true dwarf.And oh boy Borri yes the follower of Khorne know as "Garmr" will pay in blood, but what's 'this?!!" bloody dwarf beards oh man Garmr you really, got some balls to show and tell your gesture to dwarves who's gonna but you and Katarina in book of grudges that's for sure, and "man!" The northmen are really bringing out the titles of intimidation and katarina who's the dancer of Balefires and beast- Queen said it best about Dogsson head going off his shoulders now that's some intimidation also Canto who was call out earlier by Katarina earning him no favor From Khorne. Harolf who's name and titles slaughtered my tongue. The man who can Lay on ice and not freeze and can drink an ocean of Kool-Aid and not burst had me laughing 😂 He the most hardcore title I've ever heard now he will be known as the man who survive split skull from a Khorne sword maiden, But the real bread and butter is Gotrek and Felix whose soon to be intro will be interesting on this conflict oh man my weekend's of GDN narration on this novel is gonna be hack of a good-Time😋 tell then have a cool weekend everyone and be safe."😃👍
