Darjeeling is the heart of all Himalayan cuisines. Your travels make me want yo go back immediately! I'd suggest you try their traditional aloo dum/achar, cel roti and fermented pickles as well.

Hi, Next when you will be visiting Darjeeling, you must try your morning breakfast in retreat and cup of raw Darjeeling tea with the mesmerizing view of the mountain to start the day or you may try Sonam's kitchen I can bet u will love it. Don't forget to meet the owner of Hot and stimulating cafe Rumba the momo's are better than Kungas. Ask Mr.Pradhan of Revolver for nice cup of authentic coffee if you are a coffee freak. Dineout in Gleneries. Look for the cake lady halle u can interview her she is having a interesting story behind her Nick name cake lady.

Never seen anything beef in India let alone someone form there eat it. Back to the point though, the food looks amazing. Chicken momo i totally want to try. Is Darjeeling good for veggies as well?(basically my partner)

Looks very delicious, but bit costly as well...it may not be possible always to pay 700-1000 Rs for everyone to pay for 1 meal. Is there any shops/Rest. where I can get a bit cheaper but quality local food?
