I saw Brynn on 'The Admiralty' a few weeks and thought mmm interesting, I'd best subscribe! Just watched this and your 'Buying a small sailboat' video so I'm now going to have to binge watch to catch up! I'm sure that won't be a difficult because as the owner of a 29 footer I'm already hooked and totally impressed. David.

In a rolly anchorage, you need to set an anchor spring. That will solve that problem for you.

We have set this up before, but didn't in this case and paid the price haha

Nice, just one thing (you might have, but did not see one); hook on a snubber, before you back on the anchor. This takes the strain off the winch..
@ChasingCurrents2 жыл бұрын
Yes, we do usually do this but in calm conditions we sometimes forget. Also there is no winch for our chain just a Sampson post and cleat. Good to have these comments though incase someone reads to learn 😊. Thank you for the comment 😁, all our best

I cannot remember the last time I watched you sailing. You are always motoring.

Yep, the unfortunate reality of the Mediterranean and being on a time schedule!

Love watching your videos - and we are following in your footsteps now. Currently in Nazare, left Plymouth at the end of August. Sailing Nendaz is us! 😀 We watched all your videos whilst land based, and now we are watching them again as we visit the same places. 😁

Aw thanks so much 😁 Awesome to hear you've headed out on some adventures too! How has your journey to Nazare been? Hopefully you haven't hit any big waves 😬 Fair winds guys! ⛵️

@@ChasingCurrents no big waves so all good on that front! It’s Orca’s that has everyone spooked. A lot of attacks this year. We are about to head into the big hotspot so a little nervous 😆

Using Navionics charts? They just split the wonderful western Europe and Med chart into 2 separate charts, so now you need to buy those separately. Not happy.

Looking good. No spare gas on board? We try to maintain 2 spare and one on the go. So want to be there. Brexit is so carp.

Unfortunately we don't have a safe place to store a second gas bottle. And we agree about brex@#%£ . Thanks for the comment 😁
