Just watched this and your 'Buying a small sailboat' video so I'm now going to have to binge watch to catch up! In a rolly anchorage, you need to set an anchor spring. That will solve that problem for you.

We have set this up before, but didn't in this case and paid the price haha

Nice, just one thing (you might have, but did not see one); hook on a snubber, before you back on the anchor. This takes the strain off the winch..

Yes, we do usually do this but in calm conditions we sometimes forget. Also there is no winch for our chain just a Sampson post and cleat. Good to have these comments though incase someone reads to learn 😊. Thank you for the comment 😁, all our best

@@ChasingCurrents no big waves so all good on that front! It’s Orca’s that has everyone spooked. A lot of attacks this year. We are about to head into the big hotspot so a little nervous 😆

Using Navionics charts? They just split the wonderful western Europe and Med chart into 2 separate charts, so now you need to buy those separately. Not happy.
