Charmy said it himself in the community tabs, and in the comments of “tails wears Amy’s dress” Gartic phone or something titled like that. I just feel like charmy and the others are getting annoyed with these comments. I know us fans want to know more, but I just don’t want to worry about the past. I just like moving forward. The new character with Eggman & Fang that you have seen is named Trip The Sungazer Lizard, She was once hired by Dr. Eggman and Fang the Hunter to guide them through the archipelago's areas and is one of the three antagonists of Sonic Superstars.

Trip is a new female character, although not much is known of her but going by those cave inscriptions. She's likely part of a tribe or clan? That suppose to guard the island. She was encountered by Fang (which there's a comic about it) and she sevres as a guide. Even though she's a villian but seeing the video, it shows she's just misguided by Eggman.
